Hi everyone,
I’d love to hear some real-world experiences from growers in different climates.
I’m especially interested in cannabis strains that perform well outdoors in cooler, humid, or unpredictable conditions, such as much of Europe, the northern United States, and Canada.
The qualities I’m most interested in are:
Which strains or genetics have impressed you most in these kinds of climates?
Are there any classic Mr Nice varieties, or particular genetic lines, you would consider especially suitable for short-season European or North American outdoor conditions?
My current favourite all-around strain is Erdpurt from ACE Seeds. It has really impressed me as a tough, dependable outdoor option, especially when conditions are less than perfect.
It would also be interesting to hear your approximate climate/region and what made the strain stand out: early finish, resilience, consistency, aroma, quality, or simply surviving a terrible autumn better than everything else.
Hopefully this thread can become a useful reference for anyone searching for mold-resistant, early-flowering cannabis strains for European, Canadian, and northern North American climates.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences

The qualities I’m most interested in are:
- Short / early flowering
- Good natural resistance to mold, mildew, and difficult weather
- Ability to handle cool nights, rain, and higher humidity
- Reliable performance in shorter outdoor seasons
- Good overall vigor and stability
- And, of course, quality genetics and a worthwhile finished result
