At the Farm

@musashi do you by chance know where the blueberry clone originally came from?

I would give both my left and right testicles to work there 😃
I asked Shanti this directly a while back, his response was "The Blueberry cut is one we have had for several years and we used it for several auto strains. It is a selection that performs very well with the auto strains...but you will see. All the best Sb"

I have tried blueberry grown by a friend that was superb, a very nice smoke. But I would agree with you, I really struggle to find anything that smells like blueberry. I am down to my last jar of Blueberry x blueberry auto from shantibaba, and it doesnt do a huge amount for me to be honest.

The most blueberry I’ve found was Blueberry muffin from Humboldt seed company. Or Matt Riot’s blue bonnet crosses. Pretty hard to get regular seeds from Riot but think you can still get regular in blueberry muffin. Both have blueberry smells and taste.

I think the most blueberry i've tasted in a plant is the Cheese clone. I've grown a lot of f13 flo and Dj stuff and grown some of the other types available. Dutch Passion grew nice plants outdoors here in Spain.

I've never had bad blueberry but I've also never had a packet that I would have been happy to have put out into the commercial world regaring there being say 6 keepers in 20 seeds for a few more runs.

The ones I used I got from Tony & Sagmartha. I sat down with him at an event and went through the huge photo album he carries around with the seeds in. He was looking for some that was not packaged and we went right back into where he first got it and I took some of those seeds, the stock that went to make the Dutch Passion so I am told.

There are many types of plants in the Blueberry lines and some are more modern type plants some more landbased and some freaks. It's a line where there isn't just the generic dutch type hybrids with fluffy buds. There are old school Mexican and Thai Plants that throw up in them from time to time with some blends . It's something to get and make f2's if you an get f1's and have a big hunt through.

I think the Blueberry seeds I made show to be fairly uniform in growth, they have been good in all the hybrids I have put them into.

I actually have 2 packs of his blue bonnet F2 in my fridge, I really should get them popped and see what they are about. I'm not a fan of Matt so never really cared much for his gear but I found these in my fridge a few months ago 🤣 Forgot I even had them!

I've grown pretty much every blueberry line there has been, DJ's in the 90's, DP's, Sagarmartha etc. I ended up making my own from some BB beans I got from Marc Emery before he got busted, it still puts out some top quality plants with that blueberry smell and flavour.
I made a cross with it to the Sag blueberry bud and a friend of mine grew some out and got over 3lb from 2 plants! They were friggen monsters and I reckon it was from the skunk that Tony bred into the Blueberry Bud.
