I prefer dry extraction (with sift), because it is less difficult and takes very less time, and the taste of the dry hash is better (bubble hash losts some terpenoids in water).

I think Bubble Hash is more potent because it contains more cannabinoïds, but dry hash is more tasty because it contains more terpenoïds.

I had a bad last surprise yesterday : my harvest just finished to dry, and I discover some mold in the big bud of ASH#3 :mad:

Things will be better in Winter......

hi lemarcel, I love my extracts, will be making some sssdh oil today :), I also have a mini pollinator, not to sure which size but it does have a drum, I have made all the different extracts you can think of but hands down for me the best has to be the bubble, its just I noticed your ball looked a little green, which to me says there is a fair bit of plant matter in there as well, and with the kief you get from the pollinator, you cant really put in a joint as the shit dont burn right sometimes, because its like a powder, put it in a bong and it burns excellent, or squeeze it into a hash if you want to do a joint, totally agree with you about it being tasty, now on to the bubble hash. :)

I have the 8 bag set lemarcel, which will separate it into different grades from 25,45,73,90,120,160,190, by far 73 and 90 will kick the shit out of you, like fuck you right up, but this is the thing, anytime i go to amsterdam the bubble always taste's shit, no matter where i get it from, it always has that same shit taste, but the cheese bubble I made before and the sssdh bubble smells like the way it should, cheese smells like cheese and the sssdh smells like lemons, but this is what I think, when they make bubble in the dam, they are using amsterdam water to make the bubble, you dont see many people in amsterdam drinking from their tap, but the water where i live is amazing lemarcel, you can drink it straight from the tap, stick an e.c stick in it and you get no reading, im think it has a lot to do with the water you use, if the water is shit, the bubble will taste shit.

now about oil, very very tasty, i made a good batch not that long ago lemarcel, I put it on a stanley blade and put it in my fridge, must have been about 1.5-2g there, showed it to a few mates, let them try it also, made with the honey bee oil extractor, now i think it must have been a few days later, i made the kids some fried egg, but when i was done, there was a little bit of fried egg that looked like the oil i made, so i pick it up and stick it next to the other oil i had in my fridge, i think it was a few days later, seen my mates again, said to them, did I show you the oil i made, they were like, yeah, you showed us, and i said i made a new bit, they were like, yeah, you did not show us that, so i open the fridge and take it out very gently, lol, and they were like, that looks really good, i said give it a burn and smell, hahahaha, they burned it and smelled it and thats when they knew it was a bit of fried egg as it did not even bubble, just went black, lol, also gave a friend some rabbit shit and told him it was scissor hash, he had it up his nostril smelling the shit, lmfao. it was 3 little balls in a little bag.

I guess its just what you prefer lemarcel, but the good set of bubblebags are amazing, lots of different grades to choose from, I do like my dry sief as well, but bubble for me wins hands down, I know it is a pain in the arse making it, but it worth the effort, you can do more with it, joints and bongs, gl lemarcel, you got some skills bro.

Yes of course I will grow MNS for each run now, but not only MNS, because I like growing genetics from different sources....

I think for my next run I will do :

- 7 seeds of MNS Angel Heart (Mango Haze X Afghan/Skunk)
- 7 seeds of Mazar (DP)
- 7 seeds of Jacks Cleaner 2 (Subcool)
- 1 cut of UK Cheese Exodus
- 1 cut of Sour Diesel IBL Riri
- maybe 1 cut of Amnesia Haze Core/Mopel, or maybe I will retry the Kali Mist, because she has a very nice taste, very hazy and spicy, I am now 100% sure there is some Haze in the Kali Mist, maybe an hybrid Haze/Skunk.

You are right my last little ball of dry hash was a little green, because I have a special technique to make dry hash quickly lol : I dry all the small resinous leaves, then I grind them, and I pass the "powder" of the leaves in a sift.

This technique takes a few minutes only, but the more the leaves are grinded, the more the hash will be green. So I think I grinded too much last time, because I was in a hurry lol.

Here it what I usually do : I grind (not too much) the small resinous leaves, I pass them in a sift, and I keep the rest for later (for making butane oil) :

With the rest of the small leaves (after they passed in sift), I make a few Butane Oil with honey bee extractor :

Then I mix the hash to the oil, making the hash very better, more oily and sticky ! :D

You are lucky to have a 8 bags set, and you are right the only bubble hash I smoked was at Amsterdam, I never smoked any homemade bubble....

In fact I said that because I remember a discussion with Sam Skunkman, and he said dry hash is more tasty than water hash, but water hash is more potent.

THC is not soluble in water, but terpenoïds, are.

But I am sure your bubble hash is both very tasty and very potent :D

Smoke Report !

Here is the smoke report of this run :)

I will start with the clones :

* Sour Diesel IBL (Riri cut) (Rez) : my favorite weed !!!

- TASTE : really powerfull and excellent, I found this taste is quite similar of the taste of the East Coast Sour Diesel (DHK Cut), but it is much stronger, with more lavender undertones, and more lasting in the mouth. A real pleasure from start to the end of the joint, I LOVE this strain, it became my favorite !! :)
NOTE : 5/5

- HIGH : This cut is more potent than the mother ECSD (DHK cut). The tolerance is better, too. The high is above average and very pleasant, and very well balanced between high and stone.
NOTE : 4,5/5

- GROW : This plant had only a few days of grow, so its yield is very correct. This strain is very pleasant to grow, with a nice vigor, an easy stretch, and very nices buds with swollen calyx and a little purple coloration. The production of resin is good. The calyx to leaf ratio is very good too !
NOTE : 4,5/5


* UK Cheese (Exodus cut) (Sensi Seeds '88)

- TASTE : very powerfull in the mouth, the taste of the UK Cheese is really original and old school, very different of the actual standarts. The taste is fruity, but with spicy undertones. Maybe like a mix of rippen fruits and foots lol, but not unpleasant at all. The smell is very strong, it is impossible to smoke this strain discreetly. I love this taste, but do not abuse because it can be quickly disgusting if you smoke only that weed.
NOTE : 4,5/5

- HIGH : well balanced between high and stone, with a little dominance of the sativa side. This clone is not very potent, but its high is very pleasant. Perfect to start a nice day, or a long night...
NOTE : 3,5/5

- GROW : this clone is not my favorite to grow, because it is classical : average vigor and yield, and a very green color until the end. The calyx to leaf ration is average, too. But this plant is 20 years old and still has all its qualities !
NOTE : 3,5/5


* Kali Mist (THS/Moricio cut) (Serious Seeds) :

- TASTE : This clone has a very spicy taste, very peperry, it is impressive ! The only weeds I smoked with that taste, was some pure Haze and a few phenos of Amnesia Haze. No doubt the Kali Mist is basically a Haze hybrid, probably Haze X Skunk#1. And this clone is very Haze dominant.
I love a lot smoking this weed at happy hour, and my friends love it, too.
This weed is excellent to mix with others strains in a joint !
NOTE : 4,5/5

- HIGH : here we clearly are in the sativa side of the high, but I harvested this clone at 11 weeks instead of 12 weeks, so its potency is not at its maximum. I need to re-grow this strain in better conditions.
NOTE : 3/5

- GROW : at the beginnning the plant was ok, but in flowering its suffers a lot from high temperatures of summer. But the vigor was nice, and in better conditions the yield would be better too.
NOTE : 3,5/5


* Medicine Man (???? cut) (Mr Nice)

- TASTE : I was disappointed by the taste of this clone, very common, I did not like it. A mix of pine and minthy undertones, together very green in the mouth. The buds were very leafy, so the taste, too.
NOTE : 2/5

- HIGH : I thought this clone of Med Man would be very potent, but it was not the case. The high is in the indica side, but the potency is just above average.
NOTE : 3/5

- GROW : in start of flowering the plant had a problem and lost a lot of leaves ; so the buds were very leafy, and that affected the taste, and maybe the potency, too. But this plant was very nice in grow, with a nice structure, nice leaves, and a good vigor. The production of resin was very good too !
NOTE : 3/5


* G13/Black Widow (Slack cut) (Motarebel)

- TASTE : the taste of this clone is pleasant, and very sweet. After a few weeks of curing, a nice little taste of litchee came out, it is amazing !
NOTE : 4/5

- HIGH : well balanced between high and stone, with a little dominance of the indica side. The potency is above average, but not cataclysmic. A nice strain for the evening.
NOTE : 3,5/5

- GROW : a nice clone to grow, very resinous. But the yield is low, and the vigor, too. The calyx to leaf ratio was bad, too.
NOTE : 3/5


And now, the smoke report of the seeds :

* Master Kaze (MasterKush/Skunk#1 X Afghan/Haze) (Mr Nice) :

- TASTE : the taste of the Mater Kaze is quite hazy, with pine and spicey undertones. The three plants I grew were very similar in taste, it is very difficult to differentiate them. The pheno MK#4 is a little more hazy than others, more spicy. This kind of taste is not unpleasant, but it is not in my favorites.
NOTE : 3/5

- HIGH : The three plants I grow were very sativa dominant, so the high is on the sativa side, too. Potency is average, and the high is relativly long lasting. A good strain for a working day.
NOTE : 3/5

- GROW : This strain was very pleasant to grow, with an excellent vigor, georgous plants, and very big buds. This strain is perfect for SOG. The yield was the best of this run. The calyx to leaf ratio was very nice, too. But be careful to the very big stretch of this strain, it was difficult to manage it.
NOTE : 4/5


* ASH (Afghan/Skunk#1 X Afghan/Haze) (Mr Nice)

- TASTE : the taste of this strain is a perfect mix between the musky, resinous, and earthy undertones of the Afghani side, and the spicy and pine undertones of the Haze side. The taste of ASH is near of the taste of Master Kaze, but more complex, with heavier undertones. The taste of the three plants I grow was very similar, with maybe a little preference for ASH#5 and ASH#3.
NOTE : 3,5/5

- HIGH : the high is very well balanced between high and stone, very complete. Potency is above average, and above Master Kaze, too. The pheno ASH #3 seems to be a little more potent than the others. The high is very pleasant, and relatively long lasting.
NOTE : 4/5

- GROW : a very pleasant strain to grow, with an excellent vigor, nice leafes, a good yield, and a stretch more easy to manage than the Master Kaze's. The buds are very nice and resinous, with an excellent calyx to leaf ratio. You just have to be careful with the mold in the big buds.
NOTE : 4,5/5


* OG Kush BX3 (seeds from Pecas, a friend from Texas) :

- TASTE : a nice suprise, with a powerfull taste in the mouth, but difficult to describe... it is between the Sour Diesel and the Bubba Kush, to give you an idea... You can smell a kind of Diesel taste, but with heavier undertones, coffee, earthy, on the Kush side. This taste is complex and pleasant.
NOTE : 4/5

- HIGH : a nice surprise too, the high is very complete and powerfull, very well balanced... the potency of this strain is clearly above average, one of the stronger plant I grew ! This strain is a cubbing of the SFV OG Kush cut, so I think this clone is very potent, too.
NOTE : 4,5/5

- GROW : This plant was not very pleasant to grow, with an asymetric structure, an average vigor, and a bad calyx to leaf ratio. Poor resistance to mold. But is was only one female from seeds, so I am sure you can find better plants in this strain !
NOTE : 2/5

Voilà ! I tried to be very objective.

For the next run I will do :

- 5 seeds of Angel Heart (Mango Haze X Afghan/Skunk) (Mr Nice)
- 5 seeds of Jacks Cleaner 2 (Subcool/TGA)
- 5 seeds of Mazar (DP, regular of course)
- 5 seeds of Sour Cream (ECSD X G13/Haze) (DNA)
- clones of Sour Diesel IBL (Riri Cut), UK Cheese (Exodus Cut), Kali Mist (THS/Moricio Cut) and a new one, the NYCD (#bbm2 cut), seems to be very better than the NYCD (Soma cut) ! :)

Of course I will do a report here.

Can you tell me which cut is the one available in the dam, dampkring etc, is it Soma's cut?

no it is not working on electronic ballast, magnetic ones only...

Sadly there is not any 600W CMH, only 150W/250W/400W... that's why I had to switch to HPS 600W !

I do not know which cut is in Dam, Soma lives there so maybe it is his Soma Cut, but I can not be sure.

#bbm2 cut came from a great grower nammed "BestialyBodyMovin" or something like that, I forgot the exact name lol

It was his second selection on NYCD, so he nammed this cut #bbm2
