Shanti and company,
I have a question, and I'd appreciate any input. Food for thought...
Hermaphrodism is within all cannabis genetics, is it not? Each and every strain has the potential to produce male flowers, does it not? This could not be possible unless the gene was already imbedded within the strain, right?
I ask this because I've also read that, through time and patience, hermaphrodism can actually be bred out of a strain. Is this true? I use examples like DJ Shorts Blueberry (Thai genetics) and Soma's initial crosses which produced several of his lines. Both breeders chose to work with genetics that are admittedly hermaphroditic...it would seem to go against accepted practice...so I am a bit confused.
I feel like there's something I'm missing...
Any thoughts on this are welcome! Talk to ya...jay
