2010 - Neville's Haze

So far all NH are cloned and I am running all of them in bloom. Flipped light regime on Jan 17 2011. So far 4 pheno are expressing male flowers...

I think this is happening is because the seed parents are over 3 months old and this might have helped their chemotype mature further along. Also taking clones as SB has expressed before to speed bloom up is what I account for seeing sex quicker than other reports I have read on Haze and Haze hybrids...

I moved the 4 males to natural light (winter time). Plants are lacking N and stretching for light. This is fine for me. Their sisters are still under hps and healthy to-date.

This is just a test and my clones dont look as nice as they did under T5's. But this is just to help selection, as I know I still have a long road ahead for finding my keepers...

Theory in the future is to use T5's in bloom to keep plants compact, when I can dial the strains characteristics in, then I will move to HPS to finish their cycle. Should make for less lanky plants...

24 days bloom

Found two more males in bloom... that makes 6 males out of 15 seeds started. Lucky me, lol! I beleive the remaining pheno's have all expressed female flowers in bloom.

No plans with pollen. Snapped the pics and cut them for my herbarium...

Hella! Chana Mansala... I actually had five males out of ten seeds with one never making it. The three females I found are spectacular so there is hope for some winners for you. If I had a way, You could have one of my females, pick one? Full blood Sativa #1, Full blood fat Girl #3 MONSTER, and #9, a MONSTER nl#5 nevilles haze. Seems like a male to female ratio is close enough... I lucked out, going to have to run the cutts a few more times to find a few to mother... unlike your marvelous grow, and local, I will probably not get a chance to run her outdoor, so I might have to find it and pass it somebody who can...

Greetings Ibf, thanks for having a look. I appreciate the kind words. I too would love to give the NH Skunk a good go around as well... maybe I should send you some NH pollen to go along with some of those EQ's you and Double J are bombing... Multi-straining is great when all the bud is cured and ready to smoke, but all the work up to it is a pain in the arse and the yield is not exactly double digits... but I am still humbled and pleased with the out come and excited to smoke. Ibf, when JJ comes through, make sure you come too, lol!

So far flavours to me are haze, meat to nut, maybe some pheno's have a little leather smell all rounded out by floral and citrus smells. Sorry my brother... need to cure this and then come over and smoke some!

Still only use the little automatic digi, but one day, I am going to go all in and get one like yours with lens and all, lol or just get you to take the pictures for me. I will feed you and let you smoke, almost as much as you want. I know you got an appetite so you will probably eat and smoke me out of house and home!

Your pics are looking great too JJ... keep up the great work and take pics all the time... you express thoughts and stories in your pics man... that is a special ability, stoned or not!!!

I dont think I mentioned it to you before, but the Bella's look great. I smoked her when I was in the dam and I remember its distinct taste!

Peace Uncle Resinbud... counting down my friend... I sometimes think of pinching a little bottom branch to sample lol! I haven't done it yet... hoping to smoke my NH after a minimum one month jar cure . Hopefully, Chana will be smoking Nevil in summer weather and a few more months away.

Resin, I think I am going to always run a few NH in my garden no matter what strain. I can squeeze them in small areas and as you know, indoor the dont need so much light to still produce some special head stash.

Your journal is fantastic and I appreciate your efforts and positive outlook.
