Hi oscar , kanga , gmt and bh ,

ive replanted some already ,
its a bit rought as im unalbe to weed due to possible aerial surveilance of the storm damage ,
but they will be going fine with the weather we are having ..

I was having problems with raising seed in the patch ,,
it proved to be the soil out there ,
when i took in some good quality seed raising mix
all was fine , with excellent strike rates .
some moulds in the soil out there and seeds tend to get damping off in the wetter times ..

i have planted more seed again , and will do a few more times to be sure of getting someting and also just to keep the area green ,

the recent extensions have made one patch a very large open area .

Did you do the extensions or did the storm do em for ya?

Glad to see you're battling on mate!

Oh well mate you always have the winter to get back on track, good luck with it all.......bloody cyclones !!!
we are getting nice weather here as well now. seems as if the plants have got a new lease of life:D

Hi bh ,
i had already cleared and fenced the new areas , thankful really as the trees would have just blown into the patch anyhows ...

hi kanga ,,
yes things seem a bit like that here too ,
if it continues like this all will be well ..
worst case scenario with a wet winter ,
at least there not much foliage around to block any light or ventilation , hehehe

Sorry to hear about the weather Donald. Prayers out to you my friend.
It's good to see you getting back on the horse. Ride on.

Right on!
I got a good feeling about this year.
Thanks for the updates.

Hi DM

DM,

I'm with Josh on this one. I am glad your safe, and getting the grow back up to speed. Threads like this one, and Kanga's are really inspirational as to what can be done with the right prep, and care. Hope your harvest goes big for you. Be well...Ns

Looking good Donald. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Though what survives will be strong and offspring should benefit from it. Take care man and happy growing.

Snow

can't wait

DM,

I would love to try the z99. I have a cross with them, and I can hope they will turn out as well. I am glad your safe, and I hope that your harvest will be blessed. When you have the chance. I'd love to see more pictures. I love how I think it is the second picture in the last you posted. It looks like the colors are a tad darker. I'd love to se some dried cured, and jarred shots of that one. If it is not to hard to get done. Be safe, and be well brother...Ns

troubles are ok if you learn something from them ,, ohh and they sto p at some point , hehe ...

hey mr chana ,, yes they were the f1 zoidfuel x c99 , excellent results from them , and ;yep they were outdoors ,

though i couldnt convince anyone that saw the finished product that it was grown outdoors ,, never looks that good grown outdoors they said , hehehehe ...

hey noshow ,, got some dried bud shots here somewhere ,, ill take a look see ....

hi mr pepel ...
addicted to outdoor growing , yep describes me prett y well ,,
i love it , not just the growing ,
but the stuff you see along the way
and the excercise ..
and the comradary of the friends that you do it with ...

Hi ,
We picked the first sativa a few days ago ,, its around a month ahead of most of the others bar one or 2 ,
a nice looking plant quite solid buds with weight , though sativery (extremely thin leaf and slightly feathery )

It withstood 500 mm of rain in the week prior to harvest , with just a spot of mould where a caterpiller had attacked , incredible mould resistance ..

Not a huge smell on it , a little bland ,
the taste is also a little on the bland side ,

i dried a little faster to have a toke ..

the high ,,,,
sooooo speedy ,,
ive barely sat down in 2 days other than to sleep ,
this is speed weed , real buzzy and motivational stuff , i love that in herb ,
might be a bit racey for some folk ...

this is the sort of stuff id like to get to one of the cannabis cups , not so much as an entry , more for folks that havent tried any sativa like it in eons , certainly takes me back a few years ...

That sounds magical mate, so glad you could salvage some buds after the atrocious weather you've had. 500mm in the week before harvest and still you get a Cup worthy smoke - incredible. Is it the Thai leaning sat, the PNG, or just another Aussie special? I bet its great to smoke that sativa outdoors when you have a bit of work to do, or even just wondering through the jungle in a daze of mystical wanderlust - up the fucken tree like Tarzan:)

hey bushy ,
well the salvaged buds i dont think would have been quite cup worthy ,
more it was the high , high , that i thought would be appreciated by the folks in those circles , you know the one well , the typical aussie sativa ,

ive gotten lost a few times wandering around the jungle in that haze/daze ,
bit of a giggle looking around thinking "where the f--- am i " , and next thought of course is
"gee im really stoned " hahahaha
good times ....

Natures fury cant hold you back mate, love it :).
Much respect
Moonunit

hey mr moon ,
