hey doobz ,, ill try to get some more shots soon ,, some things have come on very well , but many plants that were growing happily are suffering from problems with the added humidity this time of year ,, they recently planted ones will cope better being more used to it as they grow ..

hey shaun , nice to see you man ,,
hear you on things not wanting to finish ,, ive seen a few plants within the line that id bet would be a bit more challanging indoors , not as problematic here thankfully ...
looking foward to seeing your pics mate ...
Not wrong m8, i have had a couple that just didn't like the hps and did some freaky things
They have been i bit of a challenge but i'm sure will be worth it

Hi shaun m8, great to see you here. I hear you on a few expressions of this gen of z99 not liking the hps so much and a bit of weirdness indoors, but im sure you will be very happy will your efforts come the time to enjoy it :), well worth the trouble on the long flowering tricky ones imho.
Hard at work ironing out the bugs for the two split z99 f3 lines as we speak :)
Much respect

Hi Wal, always admire your work, primo quality per usual. Can I just say that while I love a good budshot, personally - I love to see the whole plant - especially as your plants and conditions are pretty unique on these pages. Hope you get my drift man, take care:)

Hey bushy ,, your request will be answered in the next voyage into the dark and deep northern jungles ,, hehehe ..
mostly ive been disappointed with things so far and avoided large feild shots and plant shots ,, plenty of nice buds ,, but the plants havent been what id expect for the time of year ..
things are improving however ..
we wait in anticipation to see what the monsoon will bring this season ,, we are told to expect the very worst ..
but ive mostly replanted the whole areas , few more weeks it will be full again , ill just cope with what nature throws at me i guess ,, all one can do ..

My appologies things didnt work out m8, gonna have to get the duck fired up for duty in the fields again, shes a tried and tested allweather champ, in your enviroment especialy. The duck is the one that needs to be brought back to the fore i think, and i will divert my time and efforts now to help where i can to help make that happen asap.
Anyways m8, hope the weather keeps nice and sunny for you
much respect

Ohh im not finished yet mate , still have hopes for the sativa season to do well ..
there is a few z99 plants that were chewed to a nub more than once ,, i thought given the fast finish on them , there was no hope that i would get anything from them ,, but amazingly they reveged nicely , and some look to be going to yeild quite well ,, never give up i guess , heheh ...

always happy to run the old duck up here , prefers a dry finish , but i can do pretty well out of some in the short season if i watch them carefully as far as reveging goes , definately a great all rounder and one of my faves to this day for taste and putting that silly grin on ones face ...
always good to see you mate ...

Hey mr bushpig ,,hope all is well for you ??
ohh theres not much to mastering cameras these days , just make sure the light is aok , you have a good subjbect and the camera pretty much does the rest ..

i love early morning shots on the buds , when the dew is still on them ,, it really enhance s the look of the resins .. like snow has fallen on them ...

This is exciting. When you going Wal?
N.

hey nevil , im always excited when i go to the jungle , darn nice place to be ..
you should hear the morning chorus in there ,, really loud and so many varieties of birds blessing the coming of a new morning ..

I often travel around the jungle at night ,, sounds crazy i know , but its the humans im avoiding ,, so in that respect its the safest time to go ,, only a complete fool would be out in the middle of the jungle at night ,, lol ..

Ill try to make time to get a few shots of the jungle around where i go , though it has been extensively logged , its still a beautiful forest in many parts .

Not a great pic( i suck at photography lol) but this is a z99 f2 indoor stress tester, i will have to get some better pics of a non stress test indoor tree grow of the z99 that is coming up.

WOW!!!! That looks like an outdoor! Holy Cow! Now that is a bud! You Aussies are kickin some ass! Can't wait to see the next pics. What is in that zoid and that c99? Thanks for the post. Is it some kind crazy indica sativa hybrid, any haze? the dried zoid looks like some crazy shit I got down in Big Sur.

hey josh , thanks man ..
Well now i know you know what c99 is comprised of , so there definately is some haze in the combination ..
the zoidfuel line is png gold , aussie bush sativa and chinese indica ..
so quite a pedigree there in the z99 .

There is a change in the air in the tropical part of australia where i live right now ,, the storms have begun ,, some welcome it ,, i do in many ways also ,, but as for flowering plants ,, well its the beginning of the end for them ,,
however the plants in veg mode will take off like a rocket , expect up to a foot and more of growth per week this time of year ,,

just incase you think thats impossible , ill load up a weekly to fortnightly shot of them so you can see ,,,, im pretty sure they will be growing as fast as cannabis can grow , or than you have seen ...

heres the size of the plants now ,, as promised ,, 20 litre bucket beside ..

picture.php

quite a nice plant ,, should yeild a few ounces ,, up to 4 , the buds are quite thick and getting bigger by the day ...
no reflection on the genetics there , as ive mentioned several times its been the worst , coldest , rainiest season ive seen, till recent times ,, so in fact they are performing very well.,.

heres a cool water dragon i came across while i was there ...

picture.php

heres another little friend of mine , green tree frogs are the nicest little folk .. just for yourself the smile on this guy ..

I for one believe you mate. I put some 30 cm plants in the ground 4 weeks ago, now a couple are around 1.2 metres, and that's a two thousand kms south, further away from the equator than you. Be exhilarating to see what you could produce in your neck of the jungle, if you could grow from August to June:)

indoor

Hi guys, i'm back with a couple pics
First is the Z99 that freaked out this is the top bud that was cut at day 68 or something with the lower buds 4 to 5 times bigger and still growing
picture.php

Next is the Z99 pictured at day 74, buds are rock hard and bending branches, smells skunky/peppery with some bad B.O., Nice sized buds like golf balls or small lemons
picture.php

And last is the MBS, i F**KIN love the look of this girl...Frost,Frost and stinks like overripe/rotting mangoes with some bad B.O. Funk
picture.php

Sorry about the shitty pics
Peace all
Shaun

look great there shaun , loving the look of that z99 there , nice colour to it ...

Hi don, lovely shots as always m8, love the frog pics, he actually does look happy and smiling, and high lol, was he near by when you had a puff lol. I think its your knowledge and skills that have gotten the plants through such a harsh season more than anything :) .
Hi shaun m8, good to see they are chugging along nicely. This gen was made to express as much as the genetics in the line as possible in a single gen. Imho the f2 gen, if reached with a large/high enough ne, is the place to really shape, define, refine, or set the direction of the line. I like working in the f2 gen as it shows the best, worst and everything in between that the line offers. It allows one to hone in on the most pleasing phenotypical expressions, and to get rid of the undisirable. Hopefully the work done here in the f2 will eliminate the undisirable weirdness indoors within the line, whilst retaining and focusing on the disired traits. From here it will be split into 2 seperate f3 lines narrowed to a lower ne ( for indoor and outdoor growers) and a larger ne single f3 line produced for breeding/preservation purposes of my own.
Normaly i like to do all the work first on seperate lines, and do the outcross last, so one ends up with say z99 f3/f4 x zoidchunk f3/f4 to make mbs2, as opposed to say (c99 x deepchunk) x zoidfuel then worked to f3 to stabilize. Both would give somewhat vaguely similar results, but the first option not only gives much better vigor, but is far more controled.
Its funny because technicaly the mbs is an inbreeding program, but essentialy it is both at once in a weird way lol.
But its a wee bit different in the case of the z99, because it has gotten to this point with a large ne, it will be possible to create more stable f3s that retain most of the vigor of the line. For the most part the z99 is being made into a breeding tool for hybridization, but i think it will put out some great pure gens along the way, and the first real test of this will be the narrowed f3 z99 lines.
Onto this gen though, the f2s. i found the shorter flowering expressions great, but the longer flowering ones really float my boat, i think you wil be most happy with those ones.
Your pics are looking lovely m8, and the mbs you have looks lovely too, cant wait to hear your opinion on the puff on them.
Anyways great to see you over here m8
much respect

Those look great! Be careful. Don't want you to be eaten by some wild semi-mythical Aussie jungle beast in the dark. I think your reasoning about no one being crazy enough to be in the jungle at night is correct.
