Doi't take my word as law or anything though, i can't easily say off just 2 pics :)

Cool thanks for sharing mate.. You got any pics of your plants 5 weeks in as thats where mine are at.. Possibly a better comparison.

Just looking at yours I can see some similarities in the upper and lower leaf structure compared to mine and other cheese grows I have just looked at on the tinterweb!

If you go back 1 page there is a pic without the HPS and flash goofing things up :) let me know what you think..

Speaking of the Hydro setup. I was meant to be starting it next week but I could not get the clones I took to root in the X-Stream Propagator. It looks like I am either going to have to go with some fem seeds or hopefully I will have some plants that I can take 20 clones off in the next 2 weeks or so. I am sure I will work something out.

Try rooting in some straight fine coco or peat moss. You can wash it off in a cup of water and you have bare roots. They will transplant just like aero clones. I have used one of those hydro systems before, but I made .25" emitters for each site and they dripped. Due to heat buildup from the pump I had to add a chiller for the system after losing a crop due to pathogens in the organic mix. The .25" emitters also started to get slower so I imagine they were getting gunked up as well. It would have been much more efficient to have a nft system with a smaller pump. I do recommend using a chiller if you run organics with the setup. For a 4'x8' grow tent I used 2 sets of tubes with the lowest point in the center of the tent draining into the res. This eliminated the extra space used by the res. I did have endcaps on both ends as they started life as GH tubes. If I was building one from scratch I would have one endcap, and one end would have a 90*° elbow and have that drop via a tube into the res.

Nice post oscolo mate. Very good info. I have now gone over to rockwool as I usually have 100% strike rate with them..

I wont be using organics. I will be using salt based nutes that don't tend to clog up lines etc. The rez/tank will actually be outside of the grow room and directly in the loft. The ends of the chambers will poke through the sheeting on one of the walls.

I will only be running this system in the winter time as I don't want Pythium etc in the warmer months. I actually have a funny feeling I might need to have a small heater in the rez when it gets really cold as outside of my grow room has no heating what so ever..

Stay Cool,
Doobz

These 2 may be in or around.

I am rather high and drunk hehe :p i think it's all the purples and reds in the photos that is throwing me off :) (in hindsight, always a good one to start with :P, i have noticed that my cheese has grown rather differently to others, even the mother of this one, i get mad foxtails, just awesome little things :D)

Thanks for the info on Tarantulas, they sound like a easy pet to keep, we shall talk more on that!

That second pic TTT posted in his first post of Cheese shots looks EXACTLY like the Exodus Cheese cutting in mid bloom.

Doobz, too early to say about yours mate. One thing about it looks a little suspicious to me, it's frostier than the Exodus at that stage of bloom. There is another Cheese that looks just like the pics doobz posted that I only recently became aware of, it is a fair bit frostier than the Exodus. There are loads of similar but slightly different Cheese cuts doing the rounds now, at least 4 or 5 of them. Folks shouldn't worry whether they have the Exodus or not, if the plants are good and you enjoy smoking them then it's all good. To be perfectly honest, the Exodus isn't the best of the Cheeses, but it is the original.

Good to see you got some tech grade mono PK, that stuff works wonders to produce bud mass and judging by your plant pics right now is the time to start feeding it, the Exodus Cheese is a complete phosphorous hog and needs to be fed tons of it, using that MPK will really fatten her up and make her buds a ton denser than without MPK. Even if doobz Cheese isn't the Exodus, it will still want lots of PK in late flower and will respond very well to it's use. The app rate for mono PK is the same as Grotek Monster Bloom if that helps. The way I do it is to mix my base nutes to say, ec 1.4 then add the mono PK until I get to say, ec 2.0. I start adding MPK from week 4 usually, I add just a little bit then gradually reduce the strength of the base nutes while upping the MPK so that by week 8 of a ten week bloom they are getting just MPK then weeks 9 and 10 I flush with water, week 9 I also give some molasses with the water for extra taste and the K in molasses gives a bit more resin too.

PS. I hate Cheese with a passion! lol I hate the smell, the taste and the high, but that's just me, she is a good plant but not to my tastes one bit!

G`day Doobs
Thanks for sharin bro .The Cheese has that skunk look eh ? Love the way the pistils almost seem out of proportion to the buds for a week or 2 before the mass kicks in .the 1st time saw/grew SK I was amazed at the masses of pistils ,previous to this it had been all Sativas outdoors and I would visit the gardens fortnightly/weekly .So I was less in touch with the flowering process so the first run of SK indoors was a revalation to me .as well as the 60 day or so flowering period . The Sativas mostly took 100 to up to 200 ! days to finish .Well it seemed at the time I had no sooner started 12/12 an I had a stash of my very own very smelly SK . Now this was long before carbon scrubbers as whe know now .It stank out the whole house while drying ,my poor little 4 needle ionizer was overwheld. no visitors for a week.Got a dozen ounces under 400w son t close too the magic gm per watt but no cigar ! Checkin this diary was a bit of a flash back to other days .Or was it the induction of a minute photon of the omnipresent NVL universal life force/ energy concentration ?
The truth is out there .

Well spotted Elmer, the Exodus Cheese is just a pheno of 1988 vintage Sensi Seeds Skunk #1. The other Cheese cuts are also skunks, of course we don't know their exact lineage but I reckon they are all skunk#1 hybrids or straight up skunk #1.

Woeps only just saw this.. I didn't know there were so many cheese versions doing the rounds.. One thing for sure is this plant is frostier compared to anything I have ever grown before.

Thanks for the info regarding the MPK - I am going to make a fresh batch of nutes tonight and give that to them with the MPK..

Your more then welcome mate :)

I wish I had known more about the way this plant grew prior to flowering as it seems like it can be topped multiple times and would produce quality multiple large colas on each plant. Thats the great thing I like about growing is you can never know everything.. Always learning..

I can see already from this plant that the nugs are going to be like coconuts. Even the ones missing out on the light..

Thanks for your post once again,
Doobz

Its going to be interesting over the next few weeks to see what this plant does.. If its in fact a hybrid, could the type of cross produce a larger yield to the usual cheese?

Here's hoping..

In one of my previous posts I mentioned the weird plant growing outside. I have no idea how it got there of even what it is..

Is it possible for a plant to die over winter and then re-grow again in the summer?

Either way its there and its doing its thing. Not sure when I will pull it. Maybe do it when we get our first frost..

Stay Cool,
Doobz

If it is the Cheese cut I think it is, it is bigger yielding and much frostier then the Exodus, more potent as well. I think I said it before, the Exodus isn't the best Cheese but it is the original. If I liked Skunky smokes I would be happier having that cut you have than the Exodus.

I just thought I'd tell everyone what a great guy doobz is, he has been extremely kind and generous and I am now the proud owner of a delightful new pet, I'm calling it Denis after the Lawman, the original King of Old Trafford and my dad's favourite footballer. When I saw the red spiky hairs it just seemed highly appropriate. Sorry doobz if you're a LFC fan, hope the name doesn't offend ya! lol

Here are some pics of Denis in his new home, he's already munched a cricket and seems to enjoy sunbathing in the bright warm patch the halogen desk lamp creates. I was gonna buy him a nice shelter from the pet shop made from a piece of log but they were 8 quid and as I live in the country logs are not hard to obtain so this weekend I'm gonna go find a good one get my chisels out and carve him a special custom shelter.

Can't get pic upload to work atm but I will keep trying.

Cheers British_Hempire. Its not only me who is super generous :)

I had some pics of the seeds you sent me to upload but can get them up till this is all fixed.. *cracks whip at admini*

The forum is having some issues atfter the upgrade so its hard to upload anything yet.. booo!!

I am glad you like the spider mate. No offence in the name at all although LFC is a bit of a touchy subject at the moment ha-ha.. Crazy whats going on with them atm..

Usually the spiders don't eat the dead crickets so the poor thing must have been real hungry.. We had fed him the night before but possibly with the cold temps he has burned alot of energy keeping warm.

With regards to the cheese. Your words make me real happy. I was a bit bummed at first but knowing there might be a better yield and some frostier buds makes nice reading.

Look forward to seeing the pics mate.. I need to upload a load myself

Bugger and Tarnation, I can see the pics but no-one else can!

The only thing about Denis I'm not 100% over the moon about is feeding his live crickets, not becuase the crickets bother me but because I dunno how I'm gonna get a live one out of the box and into the tank, I have some tweezers for handling them but I can see me doing some swearing until I get the hang of it! I was reading that the crickets need to eat leaves to survive, wonder if they will like ganja leaves or will I have a load of stoned to the bone crickets? lol

My mum cracked me up at the name Denis, I said 'I named it after Denis Law' and she replies 'the cricketer?' I just shook my head and looked at my dad who was laughing like mad at her.

LFC, ah, it is crazy indeed. I have not taken the mick out of any of my LFC fan friends as I have a horrid feeling Utd may end up in the same boat as we also have US owners and a huge debt. If it can happen to Utd it can happen to anyone, we went from no debt 5 years ago to almost 800 million of debt. It's so worrying. Everton have it right - no debts, live within your means and keep everything as steady as possible.

If you do want to run the Exodus cut alongside your cut I can obtain it for ya at some point, it's not in my close circle anymore cos none of us like it much but I can definitely obtain it as I know loads of peeps who have it.

If you enjoy the end product of your Cheese cutting I heartily suggest crossing it to a nice male, Cheese crosses are usually better then the original cutting. Cheese x NLX would probably be a monster yielder and Cheese x Widow would probably be a resin monster. Best Cheese I've tried was a Cheese x Yumboldt.
