Thanx Guys.....

Moonunit good to see you aroung again, hope all is going well for you :D

hey Donald hope you are not in the path of this cyclone, if you are I am thinking of you mate:eek:

ADC.....Hi mate and welcome.
To be honest this is my first season growing MNS seeds and they havent really started to flower yet, it seems as if you cant go wrong with the Nev Haze, also Mango haze, SSH and anything that leans more towards the Sativa side. I have had trouble with some others that arent mostly Sat, but I think I would blame myself more for that coz I am not used to the Hybrid strains......next season will be a different story:D
I will put some pics up in a few days as they are just starting to look good again after a couple of swims.

Seems as if the wildlife is back to its normal again, here are some pics of a Bearded Dragon and a very big Carpet snake:D

Hi mate, I didn't know Carpets ate grapes:) The ones that size are usually a bit bitey..well you know. Hope your plants are well and looking forward to seeing them...could be more rain though...

Lol.....You would be suprised what the animals eat around here:D

Ok mate here you go, this spot had the creek rip through it and everything suffered so bad from drowning. There was no mulch left and huge holes in the ground, I have just spent the last 2 weeks restoring it and remulching and feeding.

I've only just discovered this thread , Kanga , they are beautiful . What an incredibly diverse and interesting plot you have mate . May they all reach maturity !

hi mr kanga ,
good to see the grow goes well and has recovered from earlier downpours ..

can you give us some background on the chocolope and the fet ??
thanks

Hi BB, thanx mate......I like a diverse garden it always makes it interesting at seasons end to see such a combination of different heads:D

Hi Donald, battering down i guess mate......Ok the Chocolope I got off A at DNA plus a heap of other interesting strains that he passed on to me.
The Fet was given to me to keep them growing from someone that has retired from growing, I have another couple of these going as well and they all look pretty uniform.
To me they look like the old sats that the South Aussies used to grow in the 70's, I used to spend a bit of time around Eliston and Penong ( Cactus ) surfing and saw plants looking very similar to these.
I havent smoked any yet so cant tell you anything else about them.

Here is a pic of another one, this one took a bit of a battering, but is coming back.

could still go 20' what?

I used to spend a bit of time around Eliston and Penong ( Cactus )

Don't mind white sharks then mate:)

I take it the Nam Black and the Hawaiian Nam in 1st pic come from different sources.

Looks impressive mate, now how can I prevail upon you to take some of these OMS for next year (I know the story:))

Hi again Kanga-t, I asked Bushy a question that was regarding you and now that I think about it, it was a bit rude really to be asking him. Anyway, you just mentioned this Fet was from a retired grower, was this from that bloke who was on icmag? I remember reading through that thread with interest. They are quite small and already flowering, early as you mentioned. Will be interested to hear what you have to say about them after their harvested and cured.
Good luck for the rest of the season mate.

Hi ya Bushy......Thanx again mate, as usual I am indebted to you:D

Don't mind white sharks then mate......... Nah mate, saw my biggest ever white surfing at caves with a few of the Penong boys, we just huddled in a group and prayed:D

I take it the Nam Black and the Hawaiian Nam in 1st pic come from different sources.........Yes different people, but both good breeders/ Growers

Looks impressive mate, now how can I prevail upon you to take some of these OMS for next year (I know the story) ......talk to you later:D

The MM/MG x MM is at 4 mtrs now and showing no signs of flowering......Hmmmmm 6 mtrs is on the cards, although it did suffer a bit and I see a bit of yellowing at the top......just have to wait and see.

Dont think anything of it mate, all good.
Yes they were from that person. They never really got it together after revegging and getting seed from them. I have another one that is alot bigger and not going into head as these are, in fact these 2 never really stop heading and always had small heads on them. Also I was told they dont get much bigger than 8ft, which is the size of the larger one.
I have taken clones off them so if they are really good I will do clones next year. Plus we didnt see alot of sunny days like last year, although these last 2 weeks have been really hot and sunny......hope it lasts but I doubt it.

Hi m8, great to see you are pulling through the deludge of this season, truely a testament of a great grower to pull through such weather especialy on a flat ground site in a very wet weird season. Hopefully things will clear up soon and your lovely selection of ladies will burst into flowering with much gusto. Looking forward to seing how they finish and your impressions of the different lines smoke wise. Lovely work m8
much respect

Yeah mate I can honestly say it was a lot of hard work keeping it all together.
The funny thing is that somewhere down along the creek are some plants that knowing MJ have taken root and growing freely:D
Yes I agree it's going to be a interesting smoke test this season, something I am looking forward to like a big kid:D

Cheer mate, your comments are always much appreciated.....stay well..K

Here are some more MNS strains, they copped a bit of a battering in the rains, but starting to look better now.

First pic is a Critical Haze in front with a Jamacian Blue Mountain behind.

Second is a Black widow with a Chocolope behind and 3rd is a Ortega.

G'day Kanga,

Your Plants look so nice mate :)

Your Ortega plant ??? I thought Ortega was an Indica with a broad leaf?

Regards BP

That Jamaican Blue Mountain looks interesting, big girl and looks like she hasn't even started flowering yet, gonna be another tree!

Hi BP, thanx, I have a bit of trouble with the Indica hybrids this year, to much rain and not enough sun has put them into early flowering, along with a few others, I think:D Being a Sat man it is all pretty new to me.
I dont know about this ortega as it is the first time I have grown it.....but it is from MNS.

Yeah BH it is going to be a very big girl, I have another one that is more spread out but just as tall, or I should say WAS just as tall. She got knocked down by the flood waters, so I left it how it is and it's coming back nicely, as in very bushy :D

I've wanted to try a proper Jamaican for a long time, we used to get some amazing Jamaican grass in the Uk in the past and I don't have any seeds from that long ago left so I'm looking forward to watching how yours do, not sure I know what a true Jamaican sat looks like, I'm guessing there might be some similarities to South Indian sats as that is where the original Jamaicans largely came from.

Glad to see the floods didn't wipe everything out. Ganja is a pretty tough plant really.
