hey kanga , nice to see they are going well given the year we are having ,,

im going to head over to your place soon with a set of trimming shears to prune all the bottom branches and leaf from around the stalk , you , know all them yellowing ones that attract mould ,, ill be over soon mate , it has to be done , hehehe
hope the new year was a beaut for you man , hopefully a good sign of things to come ...

Lol.....What mold, that is my mulch when they fall off. Already we havent had rain for 4-5 days and I have to water the vegie garden:(
Bushy said it was raining his way all morning and here it is hot and a little bit cloudy with the deafening sound of the cicadas and i mean deafening:eek:

Thanx mate....it was pretty quite New year for me with the family away, hope yours was a good one and lets all hope for the old days Autum finish:D

Lol.....yeah Bushy you have got that right:D

sounds like you are getting some decent weather , wish i could say the same ,, its sodden ,, and then some , and still raining with 3 months of it to come ,,

yep its raining .. lol

on the pruning ,, its just the kinda deal we would want to do if we had a nursery (some of us do) , prune off un required leaf and branches , to allow more power to the established ones and more airflow etc ,, just general plant maintenance.. cannabis loves it ...

Jeez mate thats not good about the rain, but I guess that is why it is the tropics, I remember so many wet days up in Indo, Malaysia and Thailand. Guess that is why I dont want to go any further than the Sub-tropics:D

Yeah mate I know about the pruning, I tried it once but cause my bottom branches can grow out over 3 metres they hung in the ground, but as you can see in this shot my plants grow quite open down the bottom and also very open through the whole plant. Plus we get about 3 harvests out of one plant starting on the outside buds first and working our way to the stalk allowing the inside ones to fatten up nicely, plus any little stuff is the hash pile:D
Everyone has there own methods I guess, I really dont have to much trouble with mold here where I am due to being in a bit of a rain shadow, it can get little bits from caterpillars or if I push them into late June and it rains.

Great, Great Grand Mum

Found a old shot in the MM archives of a Big mum, this was the female first used in the first main breeding from when I had gotten the strain......I had done a few small ones, but this was out of a lot of seeds and some had been crossed to the Victorian Indica.....so it was interesting to see how they went.

yes definately a host of critters seem to like your company , must be the good vibes mate ...

Hi m8, great plants aswell as the plant and wildlife shots. Man when those male roos go at it you can hear the back leg strikes from across a paddock, such powerful creatures, we used to get the really big reds that came up into the mountains from the dry west for better grazing, used to hear the fight usualy before seeing it.
much respect
moonunit
