Hi all,
The feminization trend that is widely popular in todays cannabis market is definitely a money maker for those companies who push this product to the general public. The idea behind the marketing pitch is all based off the sensimelia product which has long been the most sought after commidity in the underground market. So by attaching their marketing scheme to a methodology such as producing seed less cannabis, its easy to see how this ideal has caught on.
Who among us doubts these companies who are banking on the feminization trend are not online, at forums just like this one, further clouding the field of play with consumers by spreading misinformation and attempting to take the subjects off topic whenever things start to hit a little too close to home all in an effort to protect their investment? Many of todays more popular small breeders are individuals who have transcended the online forums, posters just like you or I, into marketing machines who now label themselves "seed breeders." So they were already online, at the forums, before they were pitching products and its no doubt they are still here, participating in threads just like this one in an effort to protect their money making machine.
But I do think the trend is coming to an end, largely due to threads of a similar nature both elsewhere and here, where the majority of hard core users get a chance to see an un-moderated/censored version of opinions as opposed to the opinions offered at sites such as Icmag.com, who stand to benefit directly from nearly all sales generated from the topic. And with those hard core users, will come a more stream lined, educated point of view which will ultimate pervade the forums ultimate direction both here and elsewhere. So its good to see threads of this nature, as points of view from all sides can be layed out for all to see.
For those of us who would like to see the plant move forward, in as safe of a direction as possible this topic is immensely important and may well explain the passionate positions taken by some. There is clearly a money factor which motivates the other side of the fence, but do these same individuals have the same kind of regard for the plant and the future as others, or are they blinded by dollar signs $$$$$$?
