Loft Grow Room Build Start To End

Looking At That Attic - Almost Exact Dimensions

I Think A Lot Of Attics Were Built For The Masses Using The Exact Layout
Probably Some Government Architect
What This Architect Never Took Into Account Was The Cold Winter Nights Of 12/12
Neither Did He Take Into Account The Radiant Heat Generated In The Summer.

Hello again cytrax.
Have you grown out the chronic x cheese plants?
If so what were the characteristics of the plant obviously its took the chronic structure but what was the actual bud like in respect to taste, stone, smell, flowering duration and yield.
Thanks in advance and i'll check by later today.

cheers for the images J K P - I do like the thought of drawing in cold air and 4sure.. I fully agree with what you say about lofts. I think all lofts should be used for something and not just left empty for the spiders to live- I should just draw in from the spare room we have at home but then again I seem to have the room dialed in so no point in changing eh?

Some nice plants you have there also..

Yea man those cheese plants were beasts. I have never grown such sticky resinous plants in my life. Come to think of it they were slimy and when trimming I went through 3 pairs of scissors.

The flowering time was a lot shorter then cheese as the plants took on mainly the chronic genetics I think it was about 7 weeks of 12/12. The stone was pretty weird and almost trippy like 2CB - Very uplifting and not a couch lock stone.

The airoma was a bit like smelly rotten puke.. It really was foul and once dried and cured it was even worse. we had to keep the jars in the loft because the smell was just too much. Even my mates when they came round said they could smell it by the door hence moving it up into the loft haha..

Its actually pretty cool looking back on this grow because I learned a lot from it and it brought back some good memories of the smoking sessions we had.

One thing I should have done is not use 6.5L pots. You can see from the images how BIG the plants are and they really were hungry all the time but still produced some frikin monsters..

I don't go for big dogs this is mine btw

And on that note i'm finished growing after today being diagnosed with a shadow on my left lung caused through smoking.

So it's been nice while it lasted but as of today i've quit smoking both cigarettes and the herb so i don't see the point no more in wasting my time growing:(

So it's goodbye from me folks and i wish you all the best in your endevours;)

woah I missed the replies on this and sorry I did..

JKP I still love your dogs :) - I wish I could show pics of our old Great Dane but its a very distinctive Neopolitan Great Dane and it would not be hard to point it back to us -

I finally managed to draw cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter and reduce the damn damp issue we have in the bathroom :) - I connected a vent to the ceiling in the bathroom and then some 5" ducting to a 5" RVK up in the loft - Its a bit noisy when the RVK kicks in but It works really well.

About a year ago I made an addition to my life in the loft. My kids are getting older and I don't really want them to see me growing all over the house. I did pretty much exactly the same as I did on the main side but its a bit bigger but a bit harder to get to as the chimney stack is in the way. I could have sworn I had pictures on some forum somewhere. I deffo dont have any after my "security scare" on any of my computers.. hrmmm now where are they.. If I find them I will post em up..

ahh here they are.. Cheeky fookers were hiding :)
