Winter journal

mnswaco.jpg

As winter change to spring,
the spider builds its nest.
It is dancing in the moonlight’s shine,
as i
t spreads its web of smoke, so fine.
With dawn’s soft glow, it claims new home,
WACO will rule this year's Haze throne.

I will add my Tropical Widow female (Nl5haze x Widow), should there be any good boy ;)

I have added my old humidifier this time, so everything should be fine for few weeks.
The climate is optimal and seedlings seems happy so far..
So after few days all seedlings are up.

One plant have some helmet issue going on. I have marked it by #5 (as slowest).
I have tried to help her a bit, but if it doesnt strive,
then this could be nice pot for placing Northern Widow clone (Tropical Widow)

You dont wanna believe it, it figured itself out alone...

WACO 5 gained muscle and removed its helmet, tho I happen to look at WACO 4 that did not want to grow, so I figured out it somehow cut itself from root.
Maybe my fault on transplant, I dont know, but now I have 4 WACOs and 1 Northern Widow.. (so subject #5 got WACO 4 sign)

Oh btw: humidity is not at 90% the I have placed rH meter in water unintentionally

I have also figured out how to use clip-on macro lens for iphone (sandmarc 100mm), so here some of this lesson ;)
W1->W5
(rip W4 :( )

- Everything is going well, I have added some rhizotonic and bit of vegetation nutes from biocanna and so far only filtered water (just dechlorined with resulting pH of 6,1)
- Northern Widow was pruned so that it is timed well for these WACO young guns.
- WACOs are looking pretty healthy, I will be preparing some ammended soil for all these shortly :)

I think this is the end of seedling stage. Plants are thriving and started the vegetation process.
Later today, or tomorrow, there will be tiping process and by the weekend potting into bigger pots.

W1
- big narrowish leafs
- medium height gain
- healthy grow & colours

1.JPG

W2
- more indica leafs with some redish tints inside
- more bushy low stature
- healthy grow & colours

2.JPG

W3
- leafs and stature (something between W1 - W2 more inclined to W1)
- more bushy low stature
- healthy grow & colours (only, this plant is a bit droopy compared to others)

3.JPG

W4
- leafs and stature is unique
- low stature
- unhealthy green - almost yellow, I will let her dry a bit and try to add some rhizotonic and grow nutes before transplant

4.JPG

Tropical Widow
- leafs and colours are healthy
- artifficialy made bushy stature
- mother & clones of her are not doing normal nodes anymore :/ but she lives and can flower out normally
- will be seeded for the last time using some delicious Waco male, should there be one :devilish:

Funny how that is, @Ptree! There is so much info out there and pictures of what problems look like but it is still sometimes hard to figure out what is going on! o_O

For example, maybe someone clearly sees a potassium problem. All the potassium in the world does not help. It turns out there is another problem causing the potassium problem!!!

"same soil, same regime of adding low doses of nutes, keeping intervalls between waterings as I do with others..." lol yeah, this never makes it easier to solve the problem! Well, you are a good grower and they are weeds, you should be ok! (y)

thnk u

I believe once in bigger pot, it should behave better :)

0all.JPG

Plants were poted up into 2 gallon texpots today.
- 4l plagron light mix + perlite
- 1,2l wormcasts
- 1,2l coco with trichoderma
- 1 overfilled spoon batguano
- 1 full spoon supermix
- 1 half spoon seaweed powder
- tip of spoon palm ash

I have cleaned bottoms for ease with stretching some lower branches in future.
I had also forgot to apply mycos on roots, so maybe there will be some slow down for a while.
So now I will wait one more week, then I will took some clones from bottoms and there will be a flowering switch.

#4 need to get better in this one week period, else it is going to make more room for other plants.
- I dont know what kind of lock out this is, I dont believe it is K, as there should be plenty, also plenty immediatelly available nutrients from wormcastings.
Water input pH 6,1 / runoff 6,7 . Roots were healthy looking and nice white. Unfortunately, I can't think of anything else to check for. :/

Maybe too hot soil for this plant ?

But overall all other plants are quite happy, so I dont feel I need a change..

- stem have perfume like smells

Beautiful photography, Ptree! Like you said, overall plants are pretty good but something is off on Waco #4. Had a plant that looked like Waco #3. It was awesome!

Thanks,,
I like how #3 leafs are kind off rounded on the edges, the smells are most unique in the pack too ! :)

I only hope for more people, to show off some Widow AC, or Widow Grail grows :)
