The Shack

This Western Winds cut is indeed a special looking lady Proud Kraut and the best part aren't even her looks.
It is her smell/taste and allround hybrid high that excites me the most.
Every time I break a bud open there is an explosions of tropical smells that hits you in the face.
Unique and as loud as it gets for me, every person that I smoked her with agrees that she is one special lady.
This round there was only one cut of her but she stood her ground smellwise, that says something about her quality because the SSH's are very dominant in smell.
She ages well in the jar also.

I have her for more than 5 years now Ray. She came from a pack of regulars purchased in 2018 I believe.
Atypical pheno but very special imo.
I'm in the proces of germinating some fem's Western Winds from 2020 but no luck so far.
 
I was going through old boxes in the attic last week and I found an old phone of mine.
It sprung to life after some charging and I found pictures of one of my earlier guerilla grows!
This was taken in the season 2001 and some plants reached +3meters that year.
Excuse the crappy quality, I can't connect the phone to my pc anymore.
The biggest plants were Nirvana's HawaixSkunk line, there are also some NLxShiva's and Top 44 in there and probably some Super Skunks.

Winter is coming to an end, time to start planning the next season in the shack.
Happy to see that all of the moms live to see another season.
I'm not quite decided on what willl be run this year, I still have plenty of hazes in the stash and I was quite surprised with some of the Honolulu's.

The Shack is running again.
I made some small changes in the setup this year.
I started 9 days ago with 16 plants, I wanted to keep 12 of the strongest clones:

This time I will run the keepers from previous Honolulu Haze again with my Western Winds keeper.

-2x Honolulu Haze #1
-2x Honolulu Haze #3
-1x Honolulu Haze #4
-1x Honolulu Haze #6
-2x Honolulu Haze #11
-2x Honolulu Haze #12
-2x Western Winds clone

I transplanted them yesterday in their final 20L pots.
Plagrond Light Mix mixed with 350ml Bat Guano.

Looking good, I like to see them prey to the light.
I run them around 40% now.

I usualy run a bigger fan directed more at the lights and use a strong passive airflow from exhaust.
There are 2 small rotating fans on each side now.

I'm running a 315w CMH, a TS1000 150W Led after it and two FC 4000 EVO 320W on the sides.
I aim for a big overlap.

It does look a bit better now.
