Aye carumba!!! They are some fat buds. Huge when you consider it's a sativa under 600w.

Whatever you are doing keep doing it!!!:D:D:D

Loving the pics keep em coming.

Hi cannabisspfecund. Here is a couple of head shots from the Early Mullum....a potent high with a sweet pine taste....

Re SSH Kanga used a particular SSH female for those crosses that displayed an incredible growth habit that culminated in 2 foot long colas. But the SSH crosses are outside the Grail project (I believe the guys are only using the most potent/pleasing stock for that), and are rather Kanga's recreational efforts.

Regarding the Mango Hz, I did get a Mango smelling pheno last season, and without doubt some of the tastiest and strongest smoke around.:)

Im definety liking that Early Mullum. im thinking EarlyMullum x old long fowering thai could make a very good 'thai'?

Sounds like the best Mullum Madness needs to be available to the public in seed when the time is right.

yer sorry i was kinda refering to 'recreational efforts' not so much the Haze Grail, or more the 50/50 I/S grail sort of thing. yous guys and nevil provide quite the mental inspiration.

cheers

Take It Out Back

Please RESPECT THE HARVEST. The dislike can wait for another thread and believe me I know about grudges (married to a redhead). THIS IS NOT A THREAD THAT INVITES PERSONAL OPINION OF DISLIKE FOR ONE ANOTHER. The players currently witching at one another have a long and storied history. Please find another thread or PM if you can not help yourself. Or, if we were sitting across from one another I'd say: " Shut the fuck up, or take it out back."-bk

Heres a contribution worthy of inclusion ,
ive grown a shit load of these plants now ,

and gotten to know them pretty well ,
some excellent quality amongst the variety ,]
imho its thai sativa thats doing most of the work ,

it has some similarities to nevils haze ,
maybe a little less stoney , and more of a head high ,
but certainly as potent if not moreso ,
drills me every time ,,
just had a few pipes of it ,, and was what prompted me to reply ,,

anyhows here she is .. (personally i note some similar traits and looks to the mm kanga grows , what do yall think?)

hello Donald from your description of the high,

"it has some similarities to nevils haze ,
maybe a little less stoney, and more of a head high ,
but certainly as potent if not moreso ,
drills me every time ,,"

they are very nice looking buds for "its thai sativa thats doing most of the work"

funny thing i was just thinking of you as I have just seen some ducks foot. it came from bush.

does anyone else know about trainwreck? i think its afgahnxmexicanxthai, kinda the thai form of skunk.

cheers

cheers

my question is directed at you dr. purpur because in the last few pages you have brought up the subject 'taste of haze' at least twice so i have to ask, are you able to give a fuller explanation? and it is not that the last couple of descriptions weren't good, but i read them more as effects rather than what is actually tasted or smelled. and this is not an easy task. i think the proper verbiage is out there if one can grasp the right words? lol. my first samples were early to mid 70s and one concept remains; it is a taste one will never forget. but do i speak from taste or effect? peace-biteme

Thank to all

Elmer bud

Those mango widows are gorgeous ,an the taste is somthin id love in my jar

Coop

That NHM is caked with trichs ,damn brother id love to hear more your experience with her .

Dr purpur

That unknown haze looks similar to the Skunk haze buds i got but abit more compact .That's an interesting comparison ,She sounds delicious though .

Donlad mallard

If i understand correct your speaking of Tom hill haze

Your post is intriguing an most appreciated ,i think this a first being reportedly grown in your environment ,soo i believe this will bring out her utmost potential .

spam more pics of my nevs mango? sure thing bigherb ;)

i just love this lady, she's definitely more nl leaning, and interesting to see the expressions in the f2s that eb has shown.

I had a friend who just harvested some, he grew this pretty amazing plant, it had about a dozen tops and barely stretched, he pulled in 3+ oz's and his report was it stinks like jolly ranchers and petrol.

Thats a tough assignment. Alot of people have trouble describing the Flavor of Haze.

Ive seen Tom Hill describe is as a metal shop like odor, and I do sometimes taste an almost metalic flavor, but maybe that mixed with a sharp spice. I cant put a finger on the exact spice.kind of like metal-orange-Cardamon. Before we were smelling sour Orange-pineapple-tropical fruit, it seems to be changing through cure
We also have noted that not only is there a great up euphoric high, We are also getting some pretty strong headrushes from bong hits. Im smoking some now

i agree dr.p the smell of haze is rather hard to put a finger on..id say spicy, sweet, herbal, tangy, sharp and sometimes rather fruity/citrusy,i as well notice a metallic almost electric smell, and as far as headrushes go some hazes are one of the only strains that i experience those with besides my lovely lady kushes and diesel.

that metallic sizzle is just one aspect of the burning haze and not always present ime, but that spicy snap to the tongue is usually there followed by an assortment of flavors. i think you're correct in stating that at least part of the taste is in tune with effects that quickly follow which also confuses any descriptions. peace-biteme

That is the truth

Somthing ive always loved discussing .The taste of haze IME ive described many times ,in details .It's fact that there are less than a handful who haved claimed to smoke Haze from the 70's .Than most who try to describe it dont have any exact words for it .

Ive always claimed that Nyc haze has nothing sweet about it an you all know how im crazy about incense ,These post below always intrigued me .Ive never tasted sweet haze till i went to Adam .Than when i grew out Sk/hz i got that tropical fruit ,sweetness but with spice catpiss an incense

Happyhi's response

someone finally nailed it, this is the very best description of the shit that i have seen, describes what i would refer to as the number 4 plant of the original haze. imho, it smells like cat piss a bit late in flower and after the cure takes on the pine, sandalwood was the word!
it had to be the Nam Rengo Kyo

Hello the haze bro's or pure haze is a tall lanky pure sativa it has huge spaces between the internodes and stretches in a huge way .
No I do not know the haze bro's this strain was given to me by a old timer in Rotterdam that owns a greenhouse who has maintained it for many years since the mid 80's .
The smell is pretty much like cats piss and sandle wood .
The strain has never been hybridized and really still has lots of vigor for being so inbred I really don't know many generations it was inbred in holland .

The early stuff

1969-1972 was mostly mexican sativa here

Maybe 1973 or 74 the Columbian red and Gold started coming in.

Also in the early 70s there was a lot of great pine tasting senso going around. Sativa with a strong pine flavor and an up head high. mid 70s was Thai stick. Hawaiian was here in 1976. I lived on Maui in 1977,went to smoke Maui Wowi. It was the end of 1977 when I had full on Afghani Indica for the first time. No one around here had anything like it. There was no Indica. My friend grew it, and I introduced all my Friends to it.

there was no name tag on my first experiences with this strain. a very few pounds were thrown in as an inducement to purchase other mexi products so forever i knew that aroma came from some high end mexican weed. nor did i ever know it to be commercially available but rather it was extended as a treat from one dealer to another, a gift which was part of a transaction. it wasn't until much later, sometime in the 80s, when the term 'haze' became attached to that distinct aroma which imho, is the mexi contribution to the haze strain. i do not believe that haze is mexican but i know it can be grown in mexico. it's sad to see the changes in that country today compared to how it once was. peace-biteme
