I smoked something yesterday that gave me hot and cold flushes , sweat on the brow , and ruined a days work .. lol ....

c99 x tom hills haze ...
man what a stoning that stuff has ..
i only ended up with 2 plants ,
they both smell different ,,
the stronger of the 2 had a super skunk type of smell , fairly acrid ,
a real hitter ... strong as you like ..

Time to pollenate the Hazes

Its just over a mile to the patch with the big Hazes, Both Nevilles and Mango. Its warm here, so I move the pollen directly from the freezer to the pre cooled, plug in Ice chest. It has a nice efficient, 12 volt systen that does a pretty good job. I took along 11 pollen selections, although We decided on two today.

Time to pollenate two large buds on both Mango and Nevilles

Carefully

We decided on Pollen from Blue Crush (pack 590),
and Mangola ( LA Conf Clone/this Mango Haze)
We did four crosses today.
Nevilles Haze/ Blue Crush
Nevilles Haze/ LAMango
Mango Haze/Blue Crush
Mango Haze/LA Mango

We are both confident and happy to make these crosses. We can hardly wait to try them. It wont be long either

Heres a new pic of our Blackberry Haze. According to the grower who took this pic the Blackberry Haze out powers our Apollo 13 x Double Purple Dojam Apollo 13 Pheno which is a a crazy strong racy sativa.

nice pix as always Dr.P ;)
but only one thing i dont believe, that paintbrush is still usable after three pollinated buds :D
i destroyed the whole set in a while last year, when i tried help with brushes to fully pollinate 5 big nigerian chicks with afghani, and have had any live male just pollen :) so i returned to my fingers :D and around 2k seeds came from that 5 plants :)

Here is part of the kit. In the previous pic, it was setting on top of the cooler.
I use multiple brushes, which are changed for each type of pollen. I also carry a small bottle of 99% pure ISO alcohol and a paper towel for very quick clean up between plants. The ISO flashes off fast, after drying the brush on the towel. Anyway, thats how I do it. :D

Sunshine and Birds singing, buds a trimmin

I stood out in the morning sunshine for a couple hours picking and trimming the large colas off one large LA plant. A whole bunch of buds.at least a pound. That plant is so easy to trim, and the buds are very large, dense, and gooey. Smokin finger hash now!

I use these threads to document when I do certain pollenations. I left the big cola that was pollenated with Nevilles Haze, until I check to see if the seeds have had time to mature

50-50

About half of these are clones I grew from seed a couple years ago, but the other half are seedlings. They are from old stock and old crosses we made years ago. Standard seedlings, unsexed, two to a pot. Old Humboldt crosses.

Up in the right hand corner, you see this plant. This seed was the only seed in a pound of Honeydew Headband that came from up North. I would assume that it is a S1. Headband is in the dog family.

This plant is a very healthy new breed of Headband. It looks a little more Kushy by structure. This one is a prospective candidate to be pollenated by Nevilles Haze and Mango Haze.

plants look great dr p.
any idea what the plant is in the front row, third column over, the one in the back of the pot?

it has some skinnier leaves than most of the rest, and just seems to stand out.

Good Eye Jack.

That is Haze Blue.

It has a HazeSkunk mom, and Blue Crush as a Dad, I made it in 2010. 1 seed only. It is a standard seed, and maybe male. I will harvest pollen if it is, and keep a clone. And if its a Female, it will be some exotic smoke

.

Heya Dr. P, VERY nice Maui Wowwee. I know one other person who has the cut and we passed him the rest of the beans from Jeannie Herer's hands that were of the same cut from Eddy Lepp and Jack's Garden. I expect Snowhigh will have these popping up and more prevalent in the near future. If it looks anything like yours I'd bet people will be clamoring to get it. As always, awesome job Dr. P

Nice thread people keep up the good work. :)
I am sorry that Neville is not actively posting in it though.

This spring/ summer i passed by Breda a few times & visited a coffeshop on a boat.
They had at least 2 of nevilles strains at the bottom of the menu, i got the C5Haze man was i in for a treat.
C5Haze is hands down the strongest i have ever had the pleasure of smoking, after a few hits i was hooked.

Thanks Neville for sharing C5 with the world so i got the opportunity to try it. :D
Sure opened my eyes & i will be waiting for the release of Grail.

Peace

Glad to see a member found "the boat" in Breda.

Don't know if it's still open these days, it had a few police busts to swallow a while ago.
The cannabis climate in Holland is getting sub zero lately so enjoy it while you can.
