Id be guessing to tell you about its background. It was one of 20 plus strains in that run.

Haze flavor is hard for me to describe. I dont know what else you might call it. There is no wood flavors in there, or insence really. Not citrus really, But it is so unusual and interesting, in comparasin to what most people are used too.

I like to light up a joint at a party and listen to people comment as it goes around. " What the hell is that?" "Oh shit this is good!" "What is that stuff?" "Who brought that?" "Hey you got some more of that?" LOL

A strange thing happened with the blackboxed LA Confidential plant this time. Ive grown it for a couple or few years and this time it tastes like Cedar. I dont ever recall that flavor. At first I suggested that someone got a clone mixed up, but It must be the same plant. I have more in the ground outdoors so Ill check it against them. Only thing different is we are using the Organic CA MG. Ive just always used oyster shells for CA in the past

I was thinking it used to taste like a smooth round Afghani with a small touch of lemon, and no spice.

My Son is saying it used to taste like Afghani and pine (I dont remember that)

And now it tastes like Cedar. After I took the first hit, I said " You better not have lost My fucking clone". I was sure it wasnt the same weed. But the high, I recognised it right away. Its the real deal.

maybe it's more mg, oyster shell don't have much mg.

So my older Son, that lives in Humboldt, was with some buddies. They were four wheeling through a dry riverbed in the mountains along the coast, and came out into an opening and there was this foxy Chick right there.

My Son says " You wanna smoke some hash?" And thats how it all began. Fine ass woman about 24 from Texas living in the woods growing weed and cleaning for a living. She told me she cleaned 50 LBS in 3 months last year, and made over 10K cash. This year She wants to do 75.

So they brought all kinds of weed and several good hashes. A bunch. Real good instant headrush Sour Diesel water Hash. Thats a pretty woman. She cooks real good too! Big blue eyes real pretty face, Sweet ass. I told my Son "Tear that shit up Boy! Thats good stuff!" They are on their way back up to Humboldt now

Its actually a Kush/Mango. The Dad is an MNS Mango. I think I had a few. This was the best male. The Mom Is a LA Conf clone.

Ill snap some pics of the big plants tomorrow. The Mango Haze is a giant now. It took off. Its over 7 foot tall and wide. The Big Nevilles Haze is jumping too.Its a monster! Hazes are just starting to bud over here. The Kushes are already flowering. The big garden has fulltime watch, and 2 Gotti pitbulls. No mistakes, No surprises.

I did not make this cross. It has Mr Nice and Mango haze in it, as well as some Kush and purple. I like the way it looks. I am especially interested in it because it is way behind most other plants going into bloom. To me that says Sativa/Haze dominant.

Update from Kangativa

Today I started the first of the crosses of 4 F1 Nev Haze males over a selected Kariba Surprise female, these males were some of the earlier males selected from 18 .
I also pollinated 3 Kariba Surprise females, 1 of which was an early maturing one with 2 of the last males to sex out
After testing numerous NH females there are 2 late ones that stand out as super potent, super trippy plants. These will be grown out this summer along with 5 others.
These plants look like they could have a incredible yield and are much stronger than the Nevs I grew last season so I look forward to seeing how they go.

The patch is ready to go after putting in over 2 ton of my own compost which was made from Cow, Horse and Chicken manure and to that I added Blood and Bone, creek sand, composted hay and rock phosphate, this was broken down over 10 months and turned every 2. This year I also added a potting mix which I had made to my specifications which included using craker dust ( crushed Granite ), charcoal and fine wood particles, I did this to help with the drainage.
Due to the amount of rain we had last year I did have a few problems with some other strains suffering from wet feet. I can now see this problem has been solved due to the 50mm we just had in 24hrs

I am also going to look at bird guano due to the fact we cant import bat guano in bulk anymore....Shame.
Before planting I will spay the patch with a liquid compost that is from Seasol and is organically certified. Foilar feeding will also be done with organically certified Seasol products.

Anyway that is a bit of a rundown on soil prep.
Most of the plants will be from clones as I am going to select the stongest plants from the ones started from seed and I have clones from the best of last years plants......so the Mullum will be back, so will the best MangoHZ, SSH and Nev Haze.
Along with the best Oaxacan, something I didnt really grow last year as I was working more on crosses from this strain.
