So tell us what desirable traits Cheese has beyond:
1. easy to clone
2. easy to grow
3. always stinks the same
apart from that it's a poor representation of skunk, there are several much better cuttings in the UK that are similar.
People who think Cheese is really good weed obviously don't know what really good weed is, this is the end result of 20 years of inbreeding depression leading to all the commercial seeds out there now being watered down versions.
Remember, the Cheese wasn't selected, it was found by a couple of guys doing one of their first grows and they ignorantly thought all the females would be the same so they only cloned one of them. This was well before it began flowering so it was a random pick.
Having grown plenty of derivations of skunk dating back to the 80s and a couple from the 70s, I know for a fact that Cheese is a very substandard plant compared to the best that Skunk has to offer. Sure, the current versions of Skunk being sold by the Dutchies are all watered down homogenised inbred garbage and by comparison Cheese does seem good.
People old and experienced enough to know how much the quality of commercial seeds has declined can clearly see what a joke the current offerings are, and when 'breeders' are spouting off how Cheese is great then it's not going to change anytime soon. Cheese represents the bare minimum of quality to be acceptable as good weed, because there is a lot of worse shit on the market people have been fooled into thinking Cheese is special. It isn't, it's at the bottom of the spectrum of good and there are several levels of quality above Cheese that are getting harder and harder to obtain because 'breeders' are full of shit these days and almost all of them don't know what they're doing.
When your goal is to stabilise mediocrity then the best you can expect is sarcastic laughter, how the hell can someone like rockster be expected to breed anything good when he thinks Cheese is really good? It beggars belief that people will swallow this bollocks, just shows how long it's been since there were top notch seed varieties for sale.
