Simply amazing to see 20ft plants, now i know how you can get a k off a plant lol My most in a GH in the uk was 8 oz!!Just a slight difference.

not only climate folks, these guys also have the luxury of space!! i have seen similar outdoor gardens in other parts of the world situated here or there but in these areas of oz, ALL gardens are akin in plant size, one after the other. not only plant size, if you have the gumption this is a land still largely uninhabited.

imho, the future of mj probably lies in oz. i've spoken of this in pm and in other forums. as a young man, i indulged my passion for the plant by being a pirate cause that field was wide open and beckoned me. lol. sadly, i am no longer a young man but this is where i see the new opportunities of today. one caveat; i quickly found out that piracy was hard work and dangerous, very little glamour. so goes it with these new opportunities as well. peace-biteme

Its more than a luxury

Its having the right spot on the planet at the right time. Its having the right genetics. Its having a spot large enough so nosey neighbors dont have a clue. Its having the right tree cover in the area to protect you from easy satelite or helicopter view. Then it goes to talent. That is a major determining factor. Sounds to me that Kanga has all bases covered.

I heard again today, that someone is offering my family members money to get them some of the MNS Mango Haze buds i grew indoors this winter. The story is that they know that the buds are seeded and are trying to aquire it mainly for the seeds. Its pollenated with: VietnamBlackThai, LavenderLightsXMexican, Nevilles Haze, and Oaxacan.
I may just confront the guy and hand him some seeds. Afterall, he should just ask me for some.

Your description of the right circumstances sounds like somewhere between the stars/planets aligning, and winning the big Lotto.;)

Some places & people are just more favored. No hate, just recognition, and perhaps a wee bit of envy.

BTW, I'll echo Elmer's sentiment. Your attitude towards your local ahem fan is unusually refreshing. Good karma mate!

snip...
If more folks got to expirience the type of genetics you are producin, I swear the commercial producers would have to supply what the consumer demmanded or be left behind in the rush for a real high, not the couchlock that we are served up at present ...

Elmer, I concur. Most most people have no idea what they are missing out on. More often then not Sativa's are characterized as being weak, or (at the opposite end of the spectrum) as crazy heart-pumping, paranoia inducing racy-high producing plants.

The commercial side of things appeals to the lowest common denominator. Speed of production, and a stone that people feel as HEAVY - so they're sure they're STONED.

I suspect those comments won't win me any friends in the Indica lovers camp either... But I'm not slagging. Just recognizing. Some folks buy pot like they choose beer / wine or booze - instead of flavor they look for alcohol content. Substance as a vehicle to get them most efficiently to a familiar destination.

peace, itg

comfort smoke

The reason so many people in my area love indicas is because their first smoke was an indica if they started smoking in the last 20 years thats what they most likely smoked their first time. Just like food and many other things people like to try exotic sometimes but most of the time they want what makes them feel comfortable.

I shared a haze skunk, i grew, with as many people as i could cause most people i know don't get to see anything that sativa leaning (it was a hazy, incense pheno). Every person who had smoked the imports of yesteryear loved it and asked for more. Every person who was on the younger side always wanted to mix another indica strain in with it, to make it "stronger" then they would just stare into space twice as long as usual (i don't get why that is fun).

O, and also i can't wait for the grail i think it will be a mind changer. Thank You Neville and crew for working so hard and possibly releasing it to the public.

We smoked a joint of Nevilles Haze mixed with Maui Wowi last night. I was having trouble with time, and my memory. I was barbequeing Swordfish, shrimp and sea scallops. Luckily there was someone over here that only took one hit off the joint. I totally forgot I was making dinner, several times. She reminded me when it was time to turn them and when to bring them in. I was lost. Then we smoked VietNamBlackThai, real McCoy, and Panama. Tilt! LOL

I too, dont like heavy Indicas. Im running a tent with about 6 hazes/Sativas, one LA Conf, and 11 Headband. Im real fond of that Headband. You put it in the jar for a few weeks and it smells like a spicey sweet lemony cookie. It delivers a very heavy headrush, that can last a couple minutes or so. Then it backs off to a nice toasty clean high without couch lock. I made seeds from this plant pollenated with Nevilles Haze. My Younger Son asked Me for some Headband/Nevilles Haze seeds last night, and I gave Him 4. (theres not alot) He also took some Nevilles Haze pollen for His Chemdog98 and OG Kush clones. We are mixing Nevilles Haze, and Mango Haze pollen into all kinds of stuff. We will surely find something over the top. I hope You guys are all having fun growing killer smoke!

Looking forward to hearing about the fruits of your harvest.
