SSH from usa 10 pack all of them popped two of them didn't look good ended looking worse so I tossed em. Rest look good is this lateral branching normal? Some of them are coming straight out sideways.

They look good to me.
It is normal to see some variation from the start.
Those 2 showed some leaf deformation, probably genetic related (mutation).
I would not worry about how the branches grow, important is that they do grow.
Every plant is different after all.
