Shark shock - March 2020 Growth

Ladies & gentlemen,

In this session, we will germinate 6 Shark shock seeds in rockwool, and transplant 4 plants in an Alien RWDC ... with Black Widow / Skunk lineage, I expect an interesting medical effect for a plant with a short flowering time.:)

The light is an Optic8+ and the feeding line is Canna Hydro.

The first babies are out, but one seems inert ...

Kia Ora,

Been looking forward to seeing a new grow log on this strain, should be a good grow.

Nice work on the AB so far, looking forward to seeing how those NHS turn out too.

Thanks !

Due to time constraint making the harvest to be done before the 8th of June ( holidays ), I'm still trying to figure out how long we can leave in veg ?

I roughly calculated :

If we count 8 weeks for flo and we include the time they need to show their gender, I think we'll have to switch to flo around the 4th of April.

So that means that with 3 weeks of veg, even in hydro, they will be quite small and we'll just have time to fim once.

Now if anyone with experience in growing Sshock can explain if the mean flowering time is more around 7 weeks, they could grow longer/taller.

i harvested Shark Shock, Spice and Shit in early Jan, they all blew up in Flower, I did notice they went longer than advertised flower times. Maybe start them in 12/12, youll get rid of the males sooner. And the buds look small for ages and in one night BOOM ! Goodluck , you will enjoy this one.

So as you can see, they were suffering from a lack of light at around 200 umoles.

Now we have increased to around 305 to 340 moles, they should appreciate.

I believe we will transplant in the hydrosystem within 48 hours.

And of course, some pics. :)

Week 2 of veg :

Aaaah a good & efficient hydro RDWC will often result in fast growth, and the Shark shock is no exception ;)

They can stand straigth by themselves now.

Hopefully, first fiming later this week.

For those not believing in hydro, new pictures after 48h : impressive :D

Please note that I also grow in soil : it's way cheaper.

But for fast & huge results, there's nothing like hydro

Soil, done right, is just as quick and tastes better.
The trick is....done right.
Not many know how done right happens. It's custom mixed soil, you can't buy it, you can only make it.

Well well ... I'm not going to start a discussion on what's best between soil and hydro ... ;)

... but ...

... you insist on "soil done right being as quick" ... and what about hydro done right ? :D

You probably have a lot of experience growing cannabis plants but how do you explain that many professional growers as well as the scientific literature mentions that a plant grows faster in hydro ? do you feel they are all wrong and you are right ?

Regarding the taste being better, it implies that you smoke or vape, right ?

But for those extracting using dry ice and using pills exclusively to medicate, how is the taste perceived in hydro/soil? not much.

You might miss all the parameters and the right hydro configuration to reach better results than in soil.

But based on scientific aggregated data, hydro reaches bigger results ( I really hope you see that I mention "bigger" results and not "better" results and, yes, a top of the line hydro system will be more expensive to buy and run, but I guess that wasnt the point of your comment ).

And now, back to the growth !
