Selfed Polyhybrid F2's Question

I recently took a 9.5wk critical haze to 11 weeks to make it a bit narcotic as i like my plants however the plants produced a few strain banana's resulting in the pollination of the plant itself so i'm gettin an occasional seed here as i test the plants finished product...would these seeds be useful in a future grow or will the have hermaphrodite tendencies possibly embedded in the genes...i really took her past the harvest window so i don't mind a few seeds but would they be useful for future growth...the finished product is quite fantastic and although i still have some F-1 Hybrids from Shanti in the fridge i've very interested to see what ten of these F2's would do...would they all be female, similar to the mother that selfed, and useful for keeping for a good headstash...the critical haze pheno i have is the biggest yielding plant i've ever had and has quite a bit of haze in the effect...i don't want to plant the F-2's and wind up with a ton of hermies...thanks C-101

If is so easy we would not have so many hermie reports from fems.
So, fems you cant got like that but hermie you will for sure.
Filial 1 female x Filial 1 male is F2, but you don't have cross of fem/male.

Shantibaba offers very cheap seeds comparing with other seed banks but
quality is for sure much much better.
Home "breeding", I'd say crossing, is funny but this seeds is so cheap & I
dont have reason to made F2.

What to say, I would not germ/grow those seeds.

i read in my ask ed book that plants that are not hermaphroditic by genes but result from stress such as taking a plant past harvest window, light stressing, etc. will all have the only female genes...but i see a lot of hermies from plants that are supposively feminised and don't feel its worth the risk...i really wish Shanti or Scorpion could chime in on this...i say Scorpion or Jesse had a beautiful plant outside that was a AHxMH*selfed so that the MH pollen was from a plant taken past the harvest window and it looks like a true beauty even next to a few F1's...i feel that any of the seeds resulting from this selfing could have their use for growers with lack of space...i have found that my Herijuana female was pollinated and a HerixCH*selfed could be a very interesting new F1 hybrid...the Heri female is a very heavy yielder with an 8wk finish for a very strong stone, combining that with the power the Critical Haze mother has it could be interesting to plant those seeds...i also had a very strong AngelHeart (aghani pheno) slighly pollinated but feel the complexity of the genes would require a lot more selection if i planted them...i am honestly considering the idea of planting 10 HerixCH*selfed and see what would result in the new hybrid...if it added both strength and power to the already strong Heri it could be quite interesting as an experiment but probably best to do this grow in another isolated room incase hermies occur

Im not sure but maybe there is some new method with light to got fem pollen.
However, you said banana's and that for sure means Hermie.

F1's means to female plant pollinate her self.
This can be only if she are hermie or you made exact stress to made male flowers on female plant.
F1 and F1s is not same but ok ...

Wish ya luck in growing those plants mate.

i always thought that the bananas were what pollinated the plants...i've only once had a female with male pollen sacks and that was 3yrs ago with some World of Seeds fem F2's...i thought the bananas on the CH occured to do it being far past the harvest window...i believe Scorpion has found a way to get parts of the plants to hermie and collected pollen but you are correct...pollen and banana's aren't the same so i'm a bit confused...if the banana's don't pollinate the plants and there are no pollen sacks like a male then what has pollinated the plants? i really appreciate your help

If is plant pollinated somehow, but there is not male plant it can be
hermie or your female made male flower somewhere on her body and pollinate one bud or big part of the plant.

This year I miss hermie on some plant and have couple seeds here and there
in the buds.
That seeds goes in the trash when I find him.
If you do not know for sure how your seeds come ,well, there is not exact answer whats gona happend if you grow them.
I believe you miss by plant checking small "banana's" at your buds.

F1'S is not good for seeds producing or "breeding".
Any female seeds or hermie is self pollinated ... so what you got ?
You got risk, thats all.

I bought that mistake once and never again.I grow seeds from my buds
what I find and at flowering I got couple seeded plants.
Thats happend just once and I will not allow that mistake twice in my life.
I find for very cheap to purchase new pack of seeds than to lose couple
months of my life for nothing.

So, I advice you again ... spend 60 euros on new CH seeds than waste couple months of your life on nothing.

thats the best advice what I know...

thanks again blizzout...after thinking about it i'm going to just run a fresh pack of something else...with Shanti's menu and good prices why risk a batch of hermies...when u speak from experience i listen (which u have) and i've had a cycle that was a pure waste before (Nirvana Widow sucked total balls for me) and i ended up with a bunch of 12wk plants that gave extreme migraines and tasted like hay...i won't take the risk and will just run ASH or AngelHeart as the F1 Shanti makes all have keepers in the packs...thanks again

np at all.
Like I told ya, do not quit with pollinating game ... it can be funny.
But if you need quality buds , shot with trustful genetics.
Who knows, maybe one day you made 2-3 grow box's so you can test your
crosses without harm to your real crop.

check this link maybe it will help ya in next pollinating game
but you can find and other things there ....
also check yourself how much you know about genetics ... quiz
