To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

Aloha Fellow Firewalkers!
It is time to replenish the medicine cabinet with Indie stock! It is also time for me to select another Ortega male for some upcoming projects. And lastly, time to redeem myself as the last CM and Ortega grow was subpar. It was a grow that included Mango Widow. The major failure of the grow wasn’t because of genetics, it was due to lack of care.
We have all had grows that were interrupted for one reason or another. Take my lower back for instance…
The plants suffered the wrath of the four horseman; PM, mites, lack of water and nutrients, excessive heat. And yet, they still came through albeit in smaller yield with diminished potency.
While it may appear a disaster, there were glimmers of light. I did manage to isolate the Ortega males before I went down. In the passel, one magnificent stud emerged. He fertilized an ACDC and a Strawberry Banana. Everything died and went to seed during my convalescence.
So here we are today, looking forward to full expression in this grow and confident my yield will improve.
Ortega and Curandera (my MedMan/SD cross)
Looking for males from both cultivars
I am always amazed at how those tiny CM seeds turn out
Critical Mass
Pictures of my Ortega/ACDC I have growing alongside will come later. I've named this cross "Nursie" after a Jethro Tull song.
"Tip-toes in silence `round my bed
and quiets the raindrops overhead.
With her everlasting smile
She stills my fever for a while.
Oh, nursie dear,
I'm glad you're here
to brush away my pain"
