BOG, along with Subcool and a lot of other US "breeders" have told more bullshit and lineage stories then you can ever imagine.I don’t know that man personally? But my search for true bubble gum led me to Evansville ,IN in the good ol’ USA! B.O.G states on a podcast that he received his seeds from Ben Dronkers while in Amsterdam. I believe it’s on the dude grows podcast. Now he says he got his seeds in the USA and then took them over there to research safer. I still remember the taste of my first hit of true bubblegum. I was at a rave called “Summer Solstice “ it was an outdoor party and I smoked the bubblegum out of a bong that a member of Tommy Chong’s camp blew. Ahhhhhh the good old days.

And by the way, BOG is dead now, along with Sub and a whole bunch of others from back in that time frame, so I won't comment further.
I prefer to take the opinion of someone who I respect and who I am absolutely sure knows just a bit about cannabis

Bubblegum
"The history of its development in the US, however, is not known."
It wasn't developed in the US. That's just the standard bullshit these boys put out to avoid admitting that it was pure Seed Bank stock.
The original BG was nice. I believe that it was a Big Bud Skunk X Nl5 SK cross. Later inbreedings, produced an inferior product.
I don't know about Silverback, but I do know my strains. Critical Mass, also comes from the BBSK line. Try crossing it to NL5SK, the result may burst a bubble.
