Origin of BubbleGum?

I don’t know that man personally? But my search for true bubble gum led me to Evansville ,IN in the good ol’ USA! B.O.G states on a podcast that he received his seeds from Ben Dronkers while in Amsterdam. I believe it’s on the dude grows podcast. Now he says he got his seeds in the USA and then took them over there to research safer. I still remember the taste of my first hit of true bubblegum. I was at a rave called “Summer Solstice “ it was an outdoor party and I smoked the bubblegum out of a bong that a member of Tommy Chong’s camp blew. Ahhhhhh the good old days.
BOG, along with Subcool and a lot of other US "breeders" have told more bullshit and lineage stories then you can ever imagine.

And by the way, BOG is dead now, along with Sub and a whole bunch of others from back in that time frame, so I won't comment further.

I prefer to take the opinion of someone who I respect and who I am absolutely sure knows just a bit about cannabis :) :

Bubblegum
"The history of its development in the US, however, is not known."

It wasn't developed in the US. That's just the standard bullshit these boys put out to avoid admitting that it was pure Seed Bank stock.

The original BG was nice. I believe that it was a Big Bud Skunk X Nl5 SK cross. Later inbreedings, produced an inferior product.

I don't know about Silverback, but I do know my strains. Critical Mass, also comes from the BBSK line. Try crossing it to NL5SK, the result may burst a bubble.

Can confirm. I'm finding sweet, almost gum like smells in a few of my critical mass now.

I agree some of the tastiest, flavourful herb with great ripping effect i ever smoked was indica leaning bubblegum.

My experience with double gum is it was more like double crap.
Stunted plants that did not grow or produce.

I smell hints of bubblegum aromas from nl5xsk, nl5xafg nordle, shit and spice.
Haven't tried the critical mass but these are where i would be looking further for bubblegum from my limited experience.

I grew nl5xskunk before i grew shit and ortega and nl5xafg.
The nl5xsk plants were way more awesome than i first thought, better than the shits and ortegas alone.

It would be good to see who can find the secret combination for the bubble and observe the various combinations in the search.

Perfect example of this is the MODERATORS/Dunning kruegar kids at icmag whom perpetuate 100% whats charles highlighted in his post. Arrogant pieces of chit who troll anyone who tells them opposite of the lies they love!

You have made me want to try critical mass for my next run Amoril!
Tell me about it Lozac....my to do list keeps leapfrogging itself every time I come on here and look at another grow report and photos 😆
I can't even grow anything at the moment but in the last few weeks I've changed my mind from Ortega to Medicine Man, to NL5 x Afghan, to G13 x Afghan Skunk, Nordle, to Critical Mass, Shit, to NL5 x Haze, and now ASH 😵‍💫
All good things come to those who wait, is what I keep telling myself mate 👍✌️
