I'm with you Sensi ... I'm commited, by popular vote here on MNS, to run my Critical Haze next, but that pack of NL#5/Afg is now screaming at me thanks to these posts and Proff77's recent positive results as well. Maybe there IS something in those 5 star rankings from shanti after all.

Charmilles, can't wait for a smoke report brother! Clips some testers, if you haven't already, and tell us what you got there@!!!

I've just ran crictical haze br and i've just germed 10 nl5 x afg and all have sprouted! You know what they say, 'great minds, think alike' ;)
After seeing that last pic charmilles, i'm even more eager to watch this one grow. Stunning pic!

I didn't focus on yield(no topping)
But yield seems only average.
I have the cuttings from these ready to go in.
Each plant was topped twice.SOG
I'll see how that goes.

NL5 x Afghan clones

I need to harvest this Saturday to make room for these.(I have no space)

These were cut from the plants I'm ready to harvest. I took 3 clips of each of 4 plants. 10 made it. These are 1gal pots.
Each plant was topped twice,the plants are 15" tall.
They will be put in 3 gal pots and vegged a little for the roots to establish,then 12 hours.

Here's an update.
I won't do a full smoke report,but my impression at this point.
Of the four females,1,2,6 and 9. One of them ,#9 has a hermie problem.
I hope its the only one. I have found a couple of seeds in buds from the other plants. I haven't seen any nanners on those plants buds yet.
The nanners on the #9 plant were next to the stem mostly. see photo

I'm in the second week of flowering the clones I took from plants,1,2,6.
I even have one #9 in there ,I'm watching very closely.
I've put in a new light bulb and will increase my nutes this time around also.
The stuff tastes good and works well.
It's a quality indica stone. No enlightenment here. But man is it good to sleep on! It's like a warm body glove.
One plant tastes better than the rest,but they are all pretty good.
I'm still curing it. So maybe it will improve.

Second time around.
This is the end of the third week of 12-12. It got a bit more crowded than I thought it would.

I think the worst is over, as far as the growth spurt.

The more I get to know this breed the more I like it. I'm looking forward to harvest in approximately two weeks.
They are getting prettier by the day. I will try getting some better photos as the time comes.

Thats most pleasing to hear charmilles. It's good to know she's making an impact!

As for getting better photo's, give us a break man. You already put most of us in the shade with the quality of your pictures, no need to rub it in ;)
Seriously, i'd love to see those shots. Eye-candy isn't in it.

What i have noticed on my plants is how small the trichs are and looking at your last pic this seems to be the way with yours. Not that it makes any odds to me, just saying :)

Anyways, keep them coming, we're all enjoying the bud porn.
