Or do I have my history wrong?
I thought the development was that back then they worked together in The Seed Bank, then the DEA thing with sam happened, then The Seed Bank became Sensi. Then nevil went into hiding or was locked up or sth, then Shanti sold his stock in Sensi to go work in Switzerland and form Mr. Nice.
Then or simultaneously nevil was part of Mr. Nice.
Then all that was left was Shanti.
Meanwhile Arjan did Arjan things and flushed Sensi and Greenhouse down the drain until it was the joke that it is today.
About right?
I had no idea that Arjan or Shanti had shares in Sensi. I always thought it was just Ben and Nevil.
Arjan is a first-class fuckwit in my opinion. Why anyone would make the mistake of partnering up with him after the he handled Shantibaba's departure from Greenhouse is beyond me.
In my opinion he's always presented as a smug, holier than thou know it all and that was way back when I actually used to think Greenhouse was worthy of being perceived as a reputable and reliable seed company and this was long before I'd even heard of Mr Nice seeds and got schooled on the whole Mr Nice/Greenhouse thing!
I guess my dislike of Arjan goes back to seeing him introduce himself at the beginning of every single interview he'd ever done with "Ah yes, hello, my name is Arjan...the undisputed king of Cannabis!"
Humble is definitely a word that I certainly could
never associate with Arjan Roscamp.
His fairytale spiel about his so-called "Thai guru" who was "curing heroin addicts" with cannabis is one of the most deplorable cases of bullshit I've ever had to bare witness to and he's only all too willing to share this pathetic work of fiction with anyone who doesn't know any better and whoever is willing to give the bone-head an audience.
Unfortunately the only people who buy that story are those who have never been exposed to heroin addiction at all their in lives and sadly that's a large majority of your average cannabis "enthusiasts".
However, it makes for a great marketing technique though and it would seem like a highly plausible "testimonial" to the quality of the cannabis his company produces to that vast majority, especially with all of the discoveries made in recent years regarding cannabis' uses both medically and therapeutically.
