Mango Haze and Mango Haze IBL, in search of a keeper

Last plants came down @102 days of flowering.
I miss them already...

These pheno's could have went longer but it was getting to cold and saw not much progress in the last week.
I hope that they still give good smoke. Like most sativa's the bottom branches matured faster and gave well developed buds.
I really hope to find a clear and very euphoric high with good energy in one of these pheno's.

First up is Mango Haze Inbred Line #6.
She is a 16 weeker and smells like onions and cheese but also like a fruit salad.
Started as a wheat pheno but ended with small buds.

Next is Mango Haze Inbred #4.
She is less advanced at the tops however one of the most fragrant girls of the group.
Strong perfume odour (resembles "Eau de Cologne") that is fresh, sweet and sour at the same time.
Has a real tropical vibe to her.
She is the heaviest plant on the line and is also a 16 week pheno.
I have high hopes of her.
This plant show mutations in the leaves and on the stems.

Last one is Mango Haze Inbred Line #1.
I already know that she is good and she is ready @14 weeks.
Turned a nice shade of purple in the end, trichomes on her are bigger than average.
She smells more like wet soil, coffee and dark chocolat but still some sweetness to her.
I have smoked this pheno from my summer grow and I like her. Not a clear high but very strong and long lasting. I reckon that this grow of her will be even better.

What strikes me is that every pheno has good trichome coverage.
This is a good quality line or I had a lot of luck!

Another Mr. Nice Seeds gem.💎(y)
This has been an inspiring grow Swifty.
My Mango Haze is in the mail.

Thanks Jonesie, we inspire each other.:)
Looking forward seeing you grow these, still have a straw MH left and will sow them next year alongside NHM to do another pheno hunt.

How is your grow doing?
So far I'm pretty happy with the latest grow mate. About to post a few pics. I have a few hazes to play with but have been holding back to try and get a handle on the great indoors. I'm with Longball in admiring what you indoor growers do on this site, simply awesome. We hit 14 hrs daylight today so I've put all my cuttings out into the yard to harden off.

10 out of 15 are trimmed and jarred, the wife says I'm starting to look cross-eyed.😄
Certainly feels that way, I will take a break for some days.

Still early, but past couple of days I've enjoyed Mango Haze #9 a lot.
Looks very sativa dominant in bud structure and smokes like a sativa.
She has a soaring uplifting high that makes you feel really good and warm inside with good energy to top it off.

She is no slouch in the trich deparment either!

The high is already strong and potent and has a gentle comedown.

First pheno that has the mango smell.👍

Swifty, I just did one of those ancestry researches and it seems that we second cousins so I am on my way to introduce myself to the family and claim inheritance on some of your buds! Hahaha. Another great grow my friend!
Haha,
So that means that I will try your famous Banska Kapama!
Looking forward, I will take care of the dessert.;)

Even the stems are covered with trichs!!!:cool:🎆
Indeed, I even noticed trichs on the bigger stems, I will do a hash run from al the bigger stalks and stems.
I always trew these away but my magnifier says to keep them.
I will report how it went!

I am a vegetarian again for last couple years from at first over 50 years ago sending my favorite beef stew recipe, now that’s a long lost relative…Macedonian name is mangia probably name stole and meaning changed from Italians…Buen provecho!

"... coffee beans don’t really “reset” your ability to smell. They merely change what we are used to smelling.
... By changing what you are smelling, you keep your nose from becoming desensitized. Coffee beans do this. But so would a lemon, lime, orange, and other things. This effect isn’t unique to coffee beans alone."

If you want to reset your palates the best way to deal with olfactory fatigue is to simply smell your own skin. Perfumers will sniff the crook of their elbows when necessary. I tried this and it seems to work. I then smelled my pits after a night of peyote--- uh, that was a reset for sure :ROFLMAO:

From @Islandgrower earlier thread:

mu

haha like when you smoke all this great Cannabis and then someone comes over to your home and says , "far out your house smells like pot" and you say, "really? i cant smell it"

next one to come over and point that out can smell my pits

Just bought a small tent!
I had some money set aside for the auctions but since I still have a lot of seeds in the fridge I used it to go throug my seeds faster.
Looks like I will be able to do a second round of the best Mango's in a short while.:)

I always enjoyed my tent grows in the past, can't wait to start.
