welcome back to where it's at
@Amoril !
Do you know anymore about the 11 seeds of really old indica stock ?
Positive vibrations for your grow,
wishing you a frosty and heavy harvest
so one of them is labeled "cali shelter cove x garys indica" and its the one i bought from seedbay back in the day. unfortunately, that pack arrived with only 4 seeds and a hole in the baggy. So the guy who listed them (had a small private breeder thing called Classic Seeds on seedbay, didnt list much) offered to send out a few of what he called "jacelyn x c99" where he claimed jacelyn was an inbred northern lights / g13 held in the shelter cove area of cali (coastal humboldt). He also said Jacelyn was related to the "cali shelter cove" cut, same seedstock just a different selection.
its probably not going to happen though. seeds sank after 24-30 hours of soak, but approaching 48 and no cracks yet. going to put these in a paper towel, so I dont have to dig them out of the dirt when they fail to germinate lmao
but since I was "planning" for these 11 plants, and ive got a lot of indica dominant stuff popped already (butterscotch is ind dom, and the silver lotus is probably 60/40 ind), im trying to talk myself into a haze strain as well.
limiting myself to strains I only have 1 pack of with no plans to keep a dad, and not crossed to critical mass .... the doors, mango, ASH, master Kaze, skunk haze, early skunk haze, and 'skunk haze x afghan haze' are the contenders. We'll see if it happens
-----------------------
critical mass are in dirt. after 12 hours of soak, 17/18 sank. by 20hrs soak, all 18 submerged and 8 had cracked open already. it was time. first pic is critical mass, and i know these arent shanti's beans but second pic is butterscotch x ssdd seedlings (with a runty plant elevated, not sure if its whorled phylotaxy or just rooting issue, more light should help either way) and finally the silver lotus (yeah its SSH but i expect a mostly indica expression because of the snow lotus dad)
