Leaf shape question

Hey guys

I have a few questions about mango haze. I grew Mango haze about 7 years ago and never got to sample their fruit b/c some punk kids ripped way before it was ready. I think that was more of a crime then them just stealing it. Anways Back then I did not have any other plants to compare the leaf pattern to, but now I have Devil, Mango Haze, critical Mass, Critical Haze all in the same room getting ready for a indoor and outdoor grow.

The question is what exactly does a Haze leaf ( shape wise) look like. Mango haze specificly but if the general haze leaf qualities in genral aswell. I was expecting a long thin blade your typical sativa style leaf and a light green. My mango seems to look like a devil leaf in shape. It also has a dark green colour to it. My devil is a very thick bushy plant and the leaves more a oval shape to them. Well my Mango Haze has the same leaf shape but is not as thick and stocky like my devil. For that matter my Critical mass has more of a sativa shaped leaf to them. Is that right. I have been able to i.d. about 6 girls with some still waiting to show their sex. I don't want to chop them for fear of chopping a keeper. I was kind of expecting more of sativa traits over the other strains. Like I have said I am already sexing all the devil, Critical Mass and most of the mango Haze. Yet My Critical Haze which I planted at the same time I still can not tell if they are boys or girls. It seems like the critical haze is more hazy then the mango haze. I labeled the seeds right and the seeds came in the new blue and white sealed packs. I never noticed this before because I did not have different strains side by side. If anybody can up load a pic of leaf shape of mango haze that would be great. Even if anybody could confirm that is the way thing should be that would be great. I was just expecting to see a more sativa characteristic with mango haze over the other mr nice strains. Thanks

hi LK,

leaf shape can change over the coarse of a plant's life.

i have had several varieties in my garden that appear Indica during veg., and then later exhibit their Sativa heritage in the last half of the flowering cycle.

also bear in mind that these plants are haze hybrids not pure hazes and the leaves could have inherited shapes from Skunk or NLs...
Sisters may look different.

In general, though...typical thin sativa blades, reasonably large leaves, though not huge, lighter green than Afghans, etc...resinous!

take care
