Hello,

We have been getting a lot of questions on SSL.

I would suggest you use a SSL (secured connection) when you log in with your username and password. This way your password will be sent safely to the server and nobody can "sniff" that information while it's transiting from your computer to the server.

To log in securely click on this link - which has the 'S' after http:

Once your are logged in you can click on this link and you'll get back to normal (not secured) connection, which is faster and less problematic in general - and does not have the 'S':

When you visit the auctions site you will be switched automatically to secured mode, to make sue all info you share there stays safe!

Hope this helps - take care,

hi bob,

please retry after refreshing your browser (possibly also clean up cache if using IE) - should work as it does for me.... otherwise let me know!

Going to the photo gallery takes you out of SSL mode and back to unencrypted.
Any plans to fix that someday?

Thanks

I'm on an iphone4s how secure are they? Should I even be in a forum like this with it? Lol. The NSA and all. Not really worried as I just grow for meds anyways. 😂😂😂😂

certificate is self signed

Chain needs the intermediate certificate added between self signed and root, or possibly rearrange the chain, to fix ssl errors. Not an insecure connection but without correct chain self signed are always untrusted.
