How to remove the white dry scale on inside containers?

What do you use to get the white crust of surface of the containers?
I’ve tried vinegar but no luck.
Ph down works if it’s strong enough but it’s a bit costly.
CLR,Calcium,Rust and Lime remover might work.

If you have found any thin that works by soaking containers please post.

If I knew exactly what the white crust was I could look up what it’s soluble in and save myself some scrubbing and scraping.
Calcium,Lime or some type of salt?

My guess is that it is a mixture of calcium and salts.
Water, soft sanding sponge and a well greased elbow should do the trick.

A good scrub brush and then rinse/soak in bleach water to disinfect for a minimum of one minute.

Bleach works great for all types of white crust
