I've been on the burn for nearly 30 years. 10 semi commercially, the other 20 on micro grows. All on the dark side/covertly.
Thought I'd join the Forum to gather some info on the latest led's and share anything I might know, that could be of use.
My fave strains/varieties reach from the 90's NL, to Cindy 99, Cali Indica, Ak Black Domina and Chronic Haze. Not so keen on the latest "falvour" strains, all a bit bland or overly thick on the pallete, I'm not convinced, but each to their own. Actually Cherry Pie is alright.
I found growing through the first bag of African Bush I had, how cool I thought, get high and it comes with seeds to make your own! I soon learnt about sensi - without seeds - and realised these African pods were useless on my windowcill.
I bought a couple strip lights and hid them on a wide shelf behind plastic sheet, it kinda workded - cuts from a Cali x NL5. Soon I went HID and never looked back. I ran NFT/XL Cubes/Soil/Organic, and now run a semi organic method - I add nutrients.
Lightwise, it's been Master T's and Sodiums all the way, but I'm about to swap to L.E.D. Gulp!
I look forward to sharing ideas with some of you.
