Were did the year go...? Also, my lighter... Now I'm not blaming anyone... but I need it back please...
The Solstice party was very fun. It was also my homies retirement. I caught a few pics before it got in full swing.
Starting to show up, kids are welcome of course, even had a tire swing for them.
The blues band is warming up, friends starting to show up and everyone is waiting for the main entrees to be served up. There was salmon, kielbaba, bbq chicken, pork roast, brisket and tri-tip. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Grappa. I think I even spied a bottle or two of some Pouilly-Fuissé. The barn in the background is where the Pinot Noir matures in 500 gallon french oak barrels.
I've known this oak tree since 1975. It wasn't that big back then.
