I recently started some MH and was blessed with some extraordinary plants, they were started 11.5/12.5 from seed. Out of 8 seeds popped, 6 survived (two had weird fused leaves and wouldnt budge), and of those 6, 5 are male. The lone female is growing excellent, but here is my point; the men are just beautiful. I have 2 skunk looking plants that were reaking from the 2nd week , and 2 haze looking plants that when rubbed smell EXACTLY like ripe guavas, the last male is just catpiss. Has anyone else experienced this guava flavour?
Now let me give you some history , where i am originaly from i bred hundreds of guava plants and sold tonnes of guava. Also in that area i grew herb, only sativa,In other words i have never grown a plant to my knowledge with indica in it. Could the indica portion of the plant be the reason i am getting this unique guava smell?
Your thoughts or suggestions on this matter are appreciated.
p.s i popped the rest of the seeds to get some more females, but i dont really care about the m:f ratios, i am gratefull regardless.
