Choices of bubble bags questions.

I’m going to make some bubble hash as soon as the outdoor temperature drops.

I have been strongly considering getting them from the press club and using Frenchy’s bags.



Anyone using the bags from the press club or have done business with them?
What is your experience?

Yeah not kidding these bags are heavily overpriced. I'd still get an expensive brand product over some unknown Amazon product as these most likely will leak some unwanted stuff into your product.

DIY would be interesting.

The press club has a few new items for bubble hash.
A work cube and stainless steel tubs with special plumbing.
The work cube looks like it might be worth using.

The work cube is 220 micron 6” cube that zips up secure and holds flowers while being washed and eliminates the need for the 220micron bag filter step.

I could get by with 2-4 bags by using the 220micron work cube.

There’s a sale running until the 31st at the press club so I have a few days to decide.

I’m ranting so don’t take everything with a pinch of salt.

I’m so fed up with the deceptive advertising.
The press club sent me an email saying if I checkout with what is in my cart within 24 hours I will get an extra one time extra 10% discount.

I tried checking out and no additional discounts.
I contacted them and they said it doesn’t work with other discounts.

I could understand if it said 10% off but an extra additional 10% off means it applies with other discounts.
When things don’t make sense it’s usually because they aren’t true.

I’ve been looking at bubble bags and machines on aliexpress.
A machine,8 bag 5 gallons set, and other things needed for 120.00 with free shipping.
Ships from the USA and choice of FedEx,UPS etc and still free shipping.
Everything looks identical except for the brand name stickers are different.

I read some reviews of the actual seller and they are sending out bags that don’t match the description or pictures.
Prices are up on machines and Amazon has removed all bubble bags.

A machine goes for 80-100+ in the states.

I think I will go with bubble bag dude and get it in the states.
I will spend a bit more but not as much as I thought when it’s all over.
Unfortunately 420 products can attract scammers.
Bubble bag dude has a good business going to screw it up by selling crap is my opinion.
Hopefully by turkey day I will be smoking some light blonde hash.

I kind of split the difference. I got high quality bags and bought a machine from amazon.
I got the machine from Amazon store which both sells and ships.
The money I saved getting the machine was applied to getting better quality bags.
I spent about the same but got less bags but at a higher quality (hopefully).


I got a 4 bag set for making full spectrum hash.If I like the results I will perhaps try different microns.

FWIW,
I ended up getting The Press Club 4 5gal bag set.
Here’s a picture of how the mesh squares from the 220.
They square microns are attached together at the corners so they don’t change shape like a weaved bag. They feel much stronger than I expected and each bag fits perfectly over a 5 gallon bucket.

I was able to remove the screw holding the agitator on shaft remove agitator and drainage strainer.
It makes cleaning up so much easier and effective.

Here’s another place where plant material and stickiness will be trapped and some even hidden
out of sight.
Once I wipe down with rubbing alcohol the hash and plant smell is all but gone and plastic smell comes back.
I cleaned this area before and it was packed with sticky material.
I did another wash last night and it was everywhere under it again.
Mold haven by the way it smells when damp.
There’s one other place where the whole top white trim and a rubber gasket between it and the blue body may have some trapped material in it.

I didn’t think about looking up inside the top cover and it’s another hard to see or reach trap for materials and sticky residue.
A stiff bristle paint brush dipped in alcohol might be all that is needed.
