Best source for regular autoflower?

I don't think regular auto flower exist Danny, I think when they make autos, part of it is that they use collodial silver to create male parts, then cross them. The potcast has an episode that interviews Daz from night owl seeds in it, and he mentions how there is no mothers or fathers kept (clones), everything is just grown from seed to make more seed.

Ruderalis is a different story though.

I have come across some stories of guys in the 80s/ 90s making their own auto flowers, Nev spoke about it somewhat on the forums here. Some of his plants went into flower without ever trying.

I suppose another question is why do you want auto regs? Are you aiming at making some of your own crosses, or was it to do with the speed of the plants growing? I have a Daddymac x raspberry goat from Heavy Dayze and that thing is a monster. Its regular and has grown faster than anything else I have grown (though the issac's haze is catching up).

I find this an interesting theory pitched that I would maybe like to debunk some more.

My interpretation is a little different than most:

"Ruderalis is recessive trait that can be found by hunting enough seeds of any line. Both males and females are easy enough to ID and find if that is what you are looking for".

That being said, in the above regard.. you do not get alot of choice when it comes to finding autos and selection of any other trait such as structure yield and flavor.
It takes 2 gens to lock in the auto trait to a seed line and from there selection of other traits can happen, or, outcrosses followed by more inbreding (2x gens unless it is full auto x auto, it cannot be done in one gen with auto x photoperiod) . This is where "super autos" have emerged from selection of half-bred (first gen outcross) autos expressing the partial trait.

Of course too, selection of good autos doing the colloidal silver dance will produce some decent seeds... the breeder needs to be well in tune though.

So to the OP:
I would suggest auto breeders whom focus soley on autos, you will find stuff worthy of your time from them. To say names of these said breeders may be over stepping the boundaries of this forum... bud just go to generic seed banks and see whose specialising it should be fairly clear when you further google or reddit search into the success of grows from these breeders as to who is worth a shot buying from.

All the best

I stand corrected, I genuinely hadn't seen regular autos, but they are not something I am particularly interested in myself. Tried a few and I didn't get on with them in my climate.

Love to see that the guys on this forum are so knowledgeable- every day is a day of learning!
