Angel Heart - Guerrilla trial

Hello everyone,

I haven't posted or introduced myself before, so here it goes

I'm that type of grower that is broke.. I got to do what I can and where I can to be able to grow. so I go for guerrilla!

About end of October last year I popped 5 seeds I had left of Angel Heart with the idea of making them into Mother plants so I could make many clones to be ready in time for some nice guerilla sites I discovered.
I know Angel Heart may not have been the smartest choice due to its flowering time and my location that is too up north. Here the weather shifts quickly getting quite cold, cloudy days and very rainy so there might not be time to finish outdoors. I should've gone for something faster flowering but it is what it is, it's what I got and it's beautiful

Alright, 4 of them germinated well and were doing great, each one doing its thing. Rubbing their stems i could smell the sweet smelling guava/papaya with a skunky in the end, another one more "dark" stinky but with the hints of the guava and so on. I had topped them, tied them and they were becoming beautiful moms until I had to relocated. That was around 3 months after germination. As they were kind of big already I decided to chop them into many clones to be able to move it around. which I did and got around 36 clones, about 12 of each.

They all rooted, took longer than I imagined because of some mistakes I did such as overwatering and almost cooked them placing too close to the led light. They all recovered really well. The media I use is Plagron Lightmix soil and i used rockwool cubes for cloning then transplanted them to a 50/50 light mix / perlite soil.

I also used a rooting gel called root-it, Biobizz nutrients and that color PH meter thing from general hydroponics to check my water.

By mid March and April the clones exploded and I had to give some away as I was running out of space. I use a small Samsung quantum board inside my closet, so it was tight.

After giving some away that left me here with 17 plants and they are doing beautiful.

Due to my lack of cash hahah I use 2 liter water bottles as pots and I know its bad because of the light hitting the roots and all. Well it's temporary, by end may they're out. 3-4 weeks from now.
I also know they should be transplanted asap as the pot is too small but that's what I got atm hope they don't complain..

those are the plants:

Good luck @mrgreenthumbs wishing you a bountiful harvest of fruity goodness
Thanks eazynz, really hope they manage to finish. 🙏🙏

Welcome aboard and good luck with the grow. Guerilla style is hard work but I'm wishing you much success. Hopefully it pays off for you. Tell us how you prepare the ground for them, where they'll get transplanted?
Hey man, thaaanks 🙏
It really is hard work and i cant keep up with all these plants in different sites. Have to work, study and got almost no time for them. But for these plants (last photo) i didnt really prepared the ground, i literally just stuck them in a hole and prayed heheh. I will be coming back next week and use some biobizz bio bloom and yeah.. budget is tight unfortunately.

Good luck mrgreenthumbs, I'm following this thread.(y)

I have so much respect for anyone having to grow this way as I’ve had to all my life too. I genuinely hope you do well my fellow gorilla grower 😎

Well, 26th september, weather is shit. Already 8c at night, some have just started flowering and some haven't. I tried to build a structure around to cover it and induce flowering some weeks ago. without success.. the wind destroyed it and i cant really afford a proper blackout to cover all that hahah.
Also its raining lots and they are too close to each other.. sure will be lots of mold and i wont be able to fight it.
As for now daylight hours still 13hrs. Quite sure it wont finish and will become salad 😬
Anyway, im taking as many clones as i can of each pheno to preserve it somehow..

Damn i wish i had a proper place to live and not have to move around renting rooms for cheapest $ i can find. Its the same story every year. Fucking hell 😭

Anyway hope it finishes or kind of so i can extract smth of it.
Global warming come on make this place warmer and sunnier 🙏🙏
What a curse not being able to do what i love.
Just sad.

All the best for everyone , wish me luck 🍀

All the best luck to you man !!

Must be terrible growing in such humid environment, and cold... I always thought 30 degrees north or south could be like the sweet spot.

As @Swifty suggests, try giving them some airflow. I just defoliated my Ortegas for that reason and I can not complain about the weather. By the way, avoid cutting any branches when it is rainy, that could cause some fungal issues.

Best of luck
