 You've been hidding? come home...lol:)

Just my observation so looking forward to learning more about feeding and relation to pheno expression to see if indeed is a correct assumption...

IME I think that there is a relation. I dont have any proof nor have I grown the strain you have but I have noticed that as well.

G`day Chana
I like what I`m seein brother .Nice structure eh ? Keep up the posts re pheno and feeding pls it is a very interesting tangent to the overall growlog .
Have you got much fan action on those babies ? I find it toughens the stems to help support those nugs later on .
Sendin the love ,stay well .
Thanks for sharin .
Elmer Bud .

Your plants are beautiful! Are these seeds a limited or special release, or are they readily available for sale? Been thinking about this strain for a long while...

Sorry to get off topic, but ill be tuned in here man, great work.

Green4Good,Billbybadgrower, Budluver, KRK, Resinfinger, Wonkadonk, Elmer, mrsmokey, NorCal, and Waverunner my humble respect for watching out for this thread... cheers to you for the love...

So far not in flower yet, but hopefully in January. This is a special plant. It is expressing sex and those that are not showing pistiles have the Fibonacci flowers forming...

It is easy to clone and after its first topping almost a month ago, one can see how this plant will be able to top and prune to develop flower sites easily.

SB, linked a good one here and I haven't flowered it out and making such claims, lol... now lets see how these will stretch and budding times in flower...

Plants are still under the t5's and getting tight for space. After I take these set of pictures, I will top and prune once again. Also take cutts of each pheno.

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the holiday season...

Respect and love,

CM

p.s. My camera is going on 5 years old, it has been ABUSED. I think all the hid lighting has impacted the picture quality now. Maybe Santa will hook a brother up! Sorry for the picture quality...

Thanks for the pics, I'm really looking forward to seeing these ladies do their thing.

Cheers again Wonkadonk... I am just as excited too... I hope to order the NL5xSkunk and NL5xAF to compare and see exactly what the NL5 brings to the table.

Take care,

C

Big ups MSN Crew!

Out of all pheno's I officially have 4 males, and I have let them bloom and flipped to 12/12 on Jan 17 2011. I cloned all pheno's of NL5Hz and starting to observe and select. Labour of love for the next year for sure.

Here are the 4 males (seed plants). 2 of the 4 males have been stressed due to light. When I saw the first two exhibit pollen sacs, I let them stay under HPS for a few days, then I moved them and put them under natural light (winter time here) and they immediately started to lack in N and stretch for light.

I am okay with this, as I am hoping to collect the pollen to recreate the line in F2.

I think 3 of 4 male pheno's are identical, save and accept one is smaller, but that was due to plant placement in the bloom room. If you look at the 3 of 4 you can see identical structure, internode spacing and flower sites. I am hype, as it would appear that Nevil was able stabilize this line and it is not hard to find the "male" specimen for future projects.

The 4th male, is very different. It looks like it is skunk all the way in structure with a twist of Haze. Very different from the other 3 males. This is probably the one to work with as it is a beautiful, lush specimen. I imagine using his pollen will share many of these characteristics to whatever he is matted too!

Here are some pics as I slowly move forward with Mr. Nice lines...

Thanks for tuning in!

Peace,

CM

Hi Coxnox, seriously brother at this point, I have to say there is skunk it the line as to my 4 male pheno... I could be wrong though. If you track back to the first page and second page of this thread a few us discuss the pedigree.

I understand that the NL5Hz of yester year is no more, or clone only (Nev line) as the Haze A/B are not with us any longer, just their off spring.

So I understand Shanti re-selected the line, with similar pedigree being Haze C.

Anyway, regardless, Northern Lights has skunk in it. So no mater what era you grew these, there should be leaning Skunk and Haze pheno's...

So far though the line is like a ibl, imho opinion as the pheno are all very even and comparable to each other.

I also note that these plants in veg, look identical to Nevil's Haze, but in flower the difference is apparent.

All in all, I am not sure as to 100% pedigree, but it is a remake of an old classic as SB stated... but I am sure they are worth your hard earned dollars...

Thanks for popping by brother and I am sorry if I just confused you more...
