HerbMaster ;), This lights on at night shit gotta go :D I should be down there with my babies!!!! The thread is slow as fukk too. No good pix. It's jammed in down there, and the last thing I want to do is pull everything apart at 2am to have to put it back. I am usually not in the mood to try to race 'lights off' by fukking around in the morning either. Hopefully I'll be able to run em during the day at least from May till ~July1. I may have to go back to night lights then, but by then I'd like to have an 800w flip flop going on. Then I could ALWAYS go fukk with plants!! :D

The plan is to run this seedplant sog and another that is haze clones. Then build 2 separate ~3 x 8 rooms and run ~10 nice sized plants (of similar growth patterns) in each under 2 x 400w CMH on a mover. I am tempting fate as it is with these 2 old ballasts. I have my 3 nice S51 mag ballasts that run cool and quiet, and I have an old MH thatruns ok (custom built in an unvented aluminum box, 3+ yrs of work on it, ~15 years old) and an S51 HPS (same story as the MH) that gets HOT. And starts LOUD. Fires the bulb every time, and they burn like the other hps', but I don't like the heat and noise levels from a 4amp appliance, lol.

I need to get (4)hoods (2)movers, (4+1 for veg)CMH bulbs, another 6" vortex, and an 8" and EVEN BIGGER filter (caps added for effect, cause I have a big filter now). I figgure if the one I have now did such a good job, and I wanna go a lil stinkier, I should go up a size. If I have to, I can scrub 2x's... Then I need construction shit, the stuff to build the relays, and access to the Depot. Prolly ~1500-2g's in total outlay (and the ability to go get the stuff). BUT I will have a production cab that will easily take care of all my bills, and another cab to fukk around in. Plus I can go see plants 24 hrs a day (and the only switching on and off will be the veg 400watter):D

I MAY make one of the cabs ~4 'waterfarm type' bukkits...
 
So it begins...

Figgured that today was as good (or better!) a day as any to start with these SuperSpices. I dropped the first ~8 seeds ~a year ago, and I have since flowered ~15 different seedplants, and ~4 of em from clone. The plants are killer. I dropped 20 of my ~50 remaining seeds. :D

I will be selecting females for:
Yield (more the merrier)
Stink (see also 'yield'...)
Haze effect (taste/aftersmell of burnt nuggs)
and they have to come in under 10 weeks.

The males will be judged first on stink (level of and flavor of) and second on structure/density. All plants will be selected away from 'pole-plants' and herm's.

So far, 50%+ of the females that I've seen will pass the selection test. There have been a few LONG flowering plants, and a few pisspoor yielders, but they are the exception. I'm not looking to create anything new, I'm just looking to stabilize the best qualities of the cross into seed form. I COULD select these for haze/high, but I have plenty of other Sativa dom seedstock to play wth in the future, and I REALLY liked some of the stankier plants in this cross. Usually I end up liking the more sativa dom plants, but with these, it was sort of the opposite.

So the moon is right for droppin seeds, AND it's 4/20, AND it's about a year since I started messin with these :D

AND I talk alot about what I've learned in 'books', but not practice...
 
Here are 4 of the first 5 females. The 5th plant was a winner, too, but took too long to flower. These are all seedplants, and less than 10weeks from first flower.
Yeah the pix are re-cycled, sue me :cool: Again, looking to stabilize the size, speed and funk.
The best smoking plants were the one in the white bukkit, and the one with 4 distinct tops (B and C), but they were ALL flame.

I put a piece of a bag of perlite as a divider in a 5 gallon, and put 2 SSH f2's in it. I have 1 more labeled plant that is sshf2 that I didn't take a pic of. She is a stunted lil thing, and I thought she was a freeB because she was so small. These are healthy, and it was a lil rough on the roots goin in...

Here is the veg boxes, and it's Devil cuts/mommz. Everything growing has been topped. The 2 plants that are strugg-ill-ing are JiC#1, and a Devil #1. I have 2 healthy cuts of #1, and 3 of #2. I dunno if I'll flip any early to see how they run from clone.

So I'm breezin through, fingerfukkin the ladies, lookin fer some pubes on 2 or 3 plants left to show, and what do I see???? THAT. FUKKIN BALLS. BUSTED NUT FUKKIN POLLENSACKS. And the worst part? It was one of my bagseeds, and as I can assume it's genetic (cause NO other plant is even pushing a nanner), I have these genes in one of my crosses. It COULD be a G/Sk or SSHf2. All of the G/Sk's and a portion of the ssh's were made at the same time as these bagseeds. I was PRAYIN it was a JustinCase, but there was a label on it...

And, no. It wasn't neatly tucked in a corner, way outta the wind. It WAS down wind of the Lanina, but there is a good bit of swirl in there. I don't think that I'll have a seeded crop problem, cause the plants are young, but it SUCKS that it is full blown like that. I have never seen a female that wanted to do that. I have had neglected males that threw flowers, but I always could chalk that up to environment, and haven't used ANY of them for my seeds.

FUKK.

I dunno, maybe the last (weak)PBP/topdress/(weak)EJ action pushed it over hte edge, but only the plants with the REAL sativa leaves show any burn, and it's minimal.
 
This is the reason that I went down there in the first place. C99 x HP F2 (not my incross/seed). Hardest little bud that I've ever grown. She is from the batch of seedlings that the mouse decapitated, ~Jan. Way shitty environment for the first ~6 weeks of life, then ok for the last ~10. Midget plant that is almost done @36 days. I don;t see it getting any denser, and it's not really pushing pistils. Prolly ~3-4grams dried, lol. Yeah, LMAO. Between the Mouse and the cold, and my decision to not pull my head outta my ass...

36 days after 1st. I can't find the seeds, I'm sure they are stashed somewhere. ~100, and they are labeled and sealed...somewhere... :^)

You asked about the BC Nutes, Technaflora? I used the complete starter kits for my past three or four grows and really like them. I also used Top Max (Biobizz?) for flower booster. This grow I just wanted to try something different so I'm using Fox Farm three part with the Awesome Blossom (Technaflora) and AN Overdrive for flower booster. I like to water every two or three days so it is necessary to use appropriated size pots. Now I transplanted into 3 and 5 gallon pails for blooming the plants haven't grown into the pails yet and so they go 4-5 days between watering. I fertilize every third watering and use molasses in bloom two of every three watering.

Shov, Thank you ;) I'll be doing a few plants with the bc boost after this run of seedplants. I have lotsa organic goodies in my soil now, but on the next run I'll keep a gallon of chems handy, to see if I notice a difference. I bought the starter kit as an 'impulse buy' on my first of 2 lifetime trips to the hydro store :D I REALLY liked the B-1, and I still use 'rootech' gel, as it seems to work pretty well. I even bought another boost and bloom bottle on a mail order, just cause they were cheap. I wish I had bought another Awesome Blossoms (2-10-10), but I can just sub out the PBP soil (1.5-4.5-5) mid-late flower I figgure. If I didn't already have the nutes, I wouldn't even be bothering, but I need MORE variables... :rolleyes:

YoBo, that muafukka DEAD. I have 50 plants in there, someone will take her/his/tranny Annie's place. I'm just waiting on a high % of seeds to 'turn' as they flower along. That was one of the faster flowering plants. I have NEVER had one like that. I have had plants that pushed nanners out of buds, and I had a honeymoon plant (thseeds) that pushed MAD nanners, some in clkusters, but pushing outta the buds, not like brand new organs at the nodes...

I went through EVERY plant last night, just to be sure that I don't have an environmental problem, or that there weren't more tranny's lookin to fukkup my day. I didn't see any, but from here out, this run gets the eagle eye, and prolly only compost tea and kelp for a few weeks.

I AM pumped to start pulling compost from the pile and to be making tea with it (sock teabag). Plants love that shit.

Sucks, cause that tranny was looking like a better female, quick, sturdy, stinky. When I pulled it, it had a perfestly happy rootmass, no burnt/hooked/starving leaves, etc. The plant was bieng well treated in a decent environment (fans don't osscilate, temps prolly a BIT too low during the end of lights off (mid-high 50's, but above 60 for the first ~8+ hrs. TRUST ME. Not cold like it was) But other than that, I'm good, no light leaks, no cold air leaks 'pouring down' on plants, good medium, relatively easy with the nutes... There is no reason that I can see this plant going herm, other than that is how God made it...

Why can't my Devil male throw some fat, juicy sacks like that??? :D

I made these yesterday with ~1oz (BONE DRY, powdered) trim that had been run through my 220 bubble bag dry over glass 2x's in the last month. I wasn't expecting much of a buzz, but I ate a bunch yesterday, and I was nice. I just finished off the 2 lil ones, and I'll prolly eat the potpie sized monster in an hour or so, depending on how these hit me. Those plates are BIG. Don't fit in the 'bachelor' microwave (lol, like a 500w goldstar with a dial and a cook/defrost switch) w/o goin corner to corner.

Every day (until yesterday, but it's still early for today...) my neighbors bring over food, I wanna get a pic, bu I end up eating it before I care enou... er...remember to take a pic :D

EDIT - These lil dogs look at ME funny when I walk around butt-ass. I wonder if it's the 3rd leg, or if they think they are getting a bath. Yes, I shower sloppy, soapy butt ass with the dogs. It's a 5 towel 2 hour, 1 day a month adventure that usually ends in Paddy having a sore back, no more hot water, and (clean and extra fly-away) doghair EVERYWHERE :^) But the dogs smell great. For like 3 days...

Blast ~1-2 cups of screened compost (yard/kitchen compost lots of coffee/tea/bananas/eggshells, rock phosphate and greensand added to the heap, and has ~60 gallons of once used soil/coco mix. Started ~1yr ago, stopped adding anything but kitchen stuff ~2mo ago.)thru a sock, and squeeze and dunk your way to cold, muddy, incredibly delicious smelling compost water. I brought it in, and added 1 teaspoon maxicrop in the 5gallons, and I'll add some molasses once it gets a lil warmer.

The flower crops will get this as the water, the veg stuff will get this cut 50% with water, and a 5ml/gallon shot of age-old grow. Gettin ready for a lil growth spurt 8^()

So I screened off that slop, and poured it into the recycle soil bukkit. There was ~ that much left in the 'other' bukkit, that will get fed to the bitches. :D

EDIT - W/O the pics, it is ~1hour to turn the pile, screen off the ~4-5 gallons, add it to the bukkit, make the tea, and strain it off. It's a simple process. AND I have ~3more servings of compost screened off for tea, so it's a 1x per month event to replace worm castings/manure.

Chicken, Chorizo (Sp?), potatoes, and like 4 kids of chopped veggies. And S.American 'whole grain' bread. It's an acquired taste, but I bet so is bread that turns to glue if you were raised on this :D

Yo,the bread is like lemon cake, and the chicken is the biggest, fattest, freshest piece that I've had prolly since last summer!! If I was a dick, I'd say the peas are either frozen or canned...
