Still, control over environment on that scale is aways down the track for me . Though I am finding bare vert bulbs have good advantages in my hot humid climate .
Interesting what your sayin about power consumption as fans are my only other power draw .

if i had a choice of growing with or without a closed grow room, CO2 and A.C , i would definitely go with the closed room CO2 and A/C .

did jim source the cut from DD though? i remember there being a big stink about this when the linewas first released...
 
not to my knowledge,
if you read the dr gt g13 thread,
jim says he spent a lot of time and expense eradicating the virus.
nevils g13 had the virus, and maybe why it was a low yeilder then...
how could dd's cut be legit as it does not match the description of the old
g13 either. did dd get rid of the virus in his cut too?
 
Some unanswered questions...... Nev apparently had the cut sent to him by dd, but was it ever verified as the original cut? DD claims nev gave him the g13 and NL5 cuts back in 86 or something, and he kept them alive..... I've never seen anyone verify this??

i heard some insiders gossip that nev wanted to claim it to be legit and claim they are useing a now returned legit g13 but K told him no call it what it is
and thats either the airborn or the pacific (cant remember which) cut and NOT an original

thats all i will say though, take it how you want and believe what you want
 
have i talked to you because i dont remember it and nev already comfirmed jim's G13 right heare on this forum but i think it was in the greenthumb thread. and i thankyou for beleaving me i have no reason to lie here even though greenthumb acused me of lieing i was only doing a comparison grow between the two mine and his mine has never been femed maybe my seed wasnt a good one because we didnt get buds like he showed in the pictures, I wish we did beleave me those are some nice plant

i don't do gossip
only what i actually know first hand
what you hear is incorrect
it is not the airborne or pacific
it is the high yield g13[whatever]one everyone
was oohing over when dd did his show.
how was it reversed?
i don't really know so i will not speculate

hope actual information helps though sometimes "i heard"
is more controversial and exciting
but "i heard"=gossip

i am out of this indica thread now

Hello, I'm having a real challenge with the G13 ( X Haze ) I'm growing indoors and I have five females flowering but I've a terrible thrip infection. I've yet to see any bugs which also leads me to believe this could be leaf miner?
Only indoor plants are infected and flowering is slow to say the least. I've used beneficials for the rootzone and added a systemic spray of 2% pyrethin( From chrysanthemums spray).
The plants seem to be outgrowing this as the lower branches are infected most. seeing no larvae or eggs has me wondering wether these are pests or dangerous to the plant which is halfway done
The outdoor three females of G13 are doing well with no evidence of infection
I could just be naiive and blame it on a previous foliar spray/ Burnt leaves Incident, But could even be scale problem ?
My last plants suffered dearly from severe defoliation and I germinated the MNS G13Haze under their canopy ??
Anyone else had a problem similar to this ?. I'll try and take some close ups of the infected areas .
still very much excited with the grow:)

thrips usually are not too bad but they can be

i have some organic stuff called Botanigard and the heavy stuff that works is spinosaid[spinosad]...they can be a pain...

maybe hand washing the under side of the leaves will help..
and foliars can burn em but so can over fert

ph lockout or those near invisible russet mites that are showing up everywhere

I dont no how many time it has to be said jim got the cut from nevil in trade for some strains jim had. which ended up to be sold by nevil after he worked with them. He sold them as ortega and garlic bud and ther might be one more maybe the maple leaf line
