I like this thread, cause it shows the progression I made from growing stunted, over/under-fed, bug bitten, compacted soil plants to what I do now, which seems to be 90%+ happy plants without too much fuss from me. 
I wish that I did more outside in the last 2 years, though.
Yo the bud pics from the last few pages are of a (Spice x SSH) x (Spice x SSH) I call it superspice. I made the cross with a spice female and a SSH male, then selected and ran a cut of that for a while. I hit her with pollen from a brother that I judged to be similar, and I have ~100 seeds from that (incross) gen left. The plant/clone I have pics of (and my room FULL of
) is just a random female from that incross. No selection other than 'she didn't herm on me 6 weeks ago like her sister'. I ran ~15 female seedplants from the generation late summer/early fall, and there are some winners to be found in these beans fur shur. I got real scared when the other cut herm'd, but I'm thinking that maybe I sprayed them with something I shouldn't have :doh!:
I'll be selecting a SSH f2 cut, and judging this SuperSpice female real closely this round. If the Spice x MissMudd is a nice plant, I'll seed her with her brothers (who appear to be nice plants so far), as that's the end of those seeds. Next up will be Nordle, G/sk f2's, and Shit f2's. Prolly drop those ~April 20

Had to let it circulate a bit myself
I noticed budset coming on after just 10 days 12/12, so I got a bottle of PBPsoil. I dunno, I just can't rationalize NOT taking a 2000% ROI on this lil bottle. A $20 bottle should give me +$400 worth of meds - if my soil were setup the way I like it, the difference with/without the bottle would be less, but good soil is expensive up front I traded the hydro guy a burnt 400w hps ballast for an expired box of insoluble N . He made out, but this is the first step in building a kickass soil. I really only had some P guano to mix in this ~95% recycled soilmix. Looking at adding a lil dolomite, some crabshell, and some greensand. Then I'ma cut it with chunky coco. No rush to do that, though. Loving the amount of daily work involved with this single crop at a time package
Plants got hit pretty hard with kelp on Sat, full strength + a lil fish/lk to the roots, and full strength + a lil protekt in a foliar. Yesterday I got them with the PBP soil + lk @ ~15/10 ml/gallon. Planning on a pbp/lk foliar today, then back to the pee/fish/kelp for another week or so. I like to use the PBP as a P/K kicker, so I will work it in again after I drop the pee feeds and kelp foliars.

Thanks Paddy , its hard to beat the feeling of smoking something good that you bred yourself. Supah Spice - sounds very good. As you said ( and have showed ) you can get quality , reasonably fast sativas with that cross. Gracias mate and a great thread.

Here's the three males that have shown themselves. The one on the left is the SSH f2, and the 2 on the right are Spice x MissMudd. I chopped the 2 on the left down after the pic, and I cut the one on the right back to just the oldest 2 lower shoots. All of the plants were trimmed hard into a single cola, but I left the lowest/oldest shoots on. I'll get pics of him after he adjusts to his new 'size'. Roots jammin out of these bags.

2 weeks today. Seedplants are ~4days after first - 6 female SSHf2's, 1 SpicyMudd. I have cuts of all of the seedplants rooting, so I gave up on the re-vegg'd ShitStorms. Fukkem, I got more beans.
In case you were wondering (I know I will be), The smartpot with the ziptie is #3, and the one without anytag/tie is #6. Put the SpicyMudd in a regular 3 gallon bag. Topdressed today with amended vermicompost.

These are the 2 SpicyMudds that I'm getting together. The female DOES express the 'root-crazy-fast-in-my-setup' trait The male spends his time here by the window, and in a hall closet
Here's where I'm dusting. Plant was encouraged to grow tall by pulling all new growth along main stem for first ~6wks of life. I left these 2 specifically to pollinate. Right now if they got completely dusted, I'd expect ~30-40 seeds from poofs that size.
If the sun comes out, he should drop at least 2 of those nuts today, maybe more. I will need ~3 sacks per side to completely pollinate.
Fukked around and got some G/Sk f2's wet the other day...

If those beans pop, deffo start a thread. Are you goin to be running them in a veggie stealth plot? Hate to say it, but you prolly do have some stinkers to deal with there.
Speaking of stinkers, one of the things that I liked about this SuperSpice cut the last time that I ran it was how much the smell changed through the flower cycle. Now I'm noticing that it changes A LOT from morning to night. This morning I got a heavy orange fuel flavor, mid day adds skittles, n drops fuel, afternoon/lights off they smell like a citrusy heavy haze. That's what I get outta the jar of the first run, too - haze n cleaner, with citrus but no identifiable fruit. Yo I been looking back through the pics of the initial spice x ssh cross, and I can't wait to get the last of em wet.

i'm really not certain wat i'm goin to b doing yet i'm still not in a safe or secure place so i'm prbly goin to b doin another half ass grow.
i got over 80 seeds i jst realised and i've put 10 premature 1s in water and like 6 decent ones in too. a few hav showed ther white tails n i'm waitin for the others
there just goin to b in a regular peat moss perlite castings mix and for the 1st month there goin to b inside by a window with full sunlight
since i do nt hav legal rights here i do not know wat i will do bt mainly im jst tryng to enjoy without legal prblems n get alil bud for free
i gt some wat could b a new og chemdawg bubba kush like hybrid in these seeds so im sure theyll b sumthing worth growing
anyways back to your crazy shit haha skittles lemon n orange fuel i'll take any of the above haha i'm waiting on my chance to get a run at some seeds or a cut of ur super spice from wat i've seen over the years i bet its worth it.

Yeah SivaSiva, dropped my plantcount, but had to make up for it with bigger bitches these are teh biggest indoor plants that I've grown so far. They will probably hold the record until the SSH f2's in the smartpots get to finishing stretching. Looks like I have at least one that will go 14++ wks.
Speaking of SSH f2's, the #2, 4, and 5 cuts all survived rooting in a shitty medium. I rooted them in ~50/50 recycled soil/peat. UUUUGGGHHHHH!!!!! I HATE PEAT!!! Got all kinds of yellow and dry/death on the growth tips ~10days after sticking. I transplanted everything into coco heavy cups, and they should all make it. the rooted plants took off after transplant. God bless kelp. I'm starting to feel the same way about fulvic acid...
Ok, got my filter today, so I had to take out the old 4" & filter, and install my workhorse 6" and new 6 x 24" phresh filter. 5 weeks today. There's a reason that you are supposed to work in the room BEFORE you put the plants in. Made a shitload more work for myself doing this in a stuffed room, but I really couldn't afford the filter till today.

Roughed em up pretty good yesterday moving them out and around. I'm going to have to grab some plant stakes this week to prop my floppies Lessons learned the last 3 weeks?
1. Biggest plants go in the back, under the brightest light (fail, lol)
2. Construction should be completed BEFORE the plants ever know about the room being constructed on (FAIL!)
3. High humidity in early flower makes for some explosive growth! (Winner!)
Ran all through those ShitStorm buds, getting VERY KIND smoke reports from them. Smoking a little now (not sure which plant, but if I had to guess, I'd say the one I called 'sweet sk structured'), and it's some funky monkey fire. Nice sweet, leathery, meaty funk. Probably going to end up BUYING some buds this week, I'll try to get some pix up
